Happy new year and all that stuff. New year, same shit?

I went to an intensive outpatient program for two weeks in December. It truly lived up to its name, it was intense! I felt the worst I’ve ever felt in the first week there but the second week was a bit better. I’ve decided to continue seeing the psychiatrist from there who we’ll call Dr J. I’ve been so upset because Dr C is immigrating to Australia and she was the first psychiatrist I ever truly liked and felt like she really helped and cared about me. Anyways I was unsure about Dr J at first but she grew on me. She suggested a new diagnosis to add to the current ones and helped me understand why. The one thing I really liked about the two weeks there was that we got to do a Rorschach test and then got the results.

Things aren’t great at the moment but is it really good for anyone right now? Between covid and my mental health, my mood isn’t great and I find myself dissociating a lot but we continue anyways.
