Against my better judgement (and pressured by my beloved spouses (JOKING)), I have decided to open Commissions for an indefinite period of time. Also, are there events or storylines we can follow if we decide to engage with them ? Are they the type of NPC we can avoid ( like Alex technically, if you don't go to the farm, you never see nor meet him ) or are they unavoidable ( like Avery, where whatever you do, you will be forced to meet him AND forced to interact with him ) ?

I have like a very loose grasp on dol timeline and lore so this might sound incoherent

In my visions , they are completely avoidable Only Hunter and Bryce can be encounter . The other two will only be unlock if you keep meeting up with either Hunter and Bryce

I always imagine meeting them would be similar to Kylar ? where after a certain time frame, you will get a random event giving the choice to interact with them . But also differently from Kylar , there's only 1 event , so if you chose to ignore them . That's gone forever , there's no second event that force you to meet them ( like Kylar and Avery )

Its rather simple tbh , Hunter meeting event would just be PC bumping into them during lunch time

Hunter wouldn't acknowledge it / take much offend , proceed to carry on with their own stuff after glancing over PC

if PC chose to follow them to apologize ( or u know ignore )

Apologizing while following them would start a conversation and now you are able to interact with them during each lunch ( and only lunch as you don't share the same classes and they skip school ... VERY often )

After raising a good friendship with them ( and show interest in what they like ) , will give you an event where they invite pc over to their apartment to hang out and watch them play their lil guitar

anddddddddddd that when you will meet the rest of the group eventually

Bryce random event uhhh. Random ass event where you see a passed out person during midday at Harvest Street . If pc chose to reach out and check if they are ... ALIVE , they would be greeted by a very disorientated and inebriated

by helping them briefly , they will be ' sober ' enough to start walking home , and by following them , you will be able to unlock the apartment and greeted by Hunter at the door , thanking Pc for helping Bryce

As for their roles toward pc

When I made Hunter , It was mainly because I was joking around with my friends , like ' haha what if I make a dol npc to date you guys pcs '

And that was why he was made , He was meant to be a very down to earth and normal guy to contract a lot of dol LI and npc at the time

The Band stuff was mainly because I think it's cool and also very funny if he's a guitarist to a failing band who live in an absolute dump of an apartment ( Zero trauma loving family btw )

The other three was made because .... a very greedy and rotund honse bribe me to make the rest of the band so thanks her ig

Jude was 100% meant to be the opposite to Hunter . If Hunter was popular due to their relaxing personality , Jude was the most volatile person ever and has a lot of people disliking them

introducing my dol npc, navi the ringmaster 🎪 he’s the kind of guy who’ll smile at you like a gentleman while casually deciding if you’re better as an acrobat or a mop.

what he brings to the game: navi serves as both a people-of-interest npc and a storyline hub. he offers the player “work” at the circus, performances, errands, odd jobs, under the guise of volunteering. but every task comes with hidden costs: debts, fines, or favors owed. the longer the pc stays, the harder it becomes to walk away.

navi can act as a patron, a captor, or a twisted mentor depending on how much the player entertains him. his circus is equal parts spectacle and exploitation, and the player has to decide how deep they want to let him pull them in.

Continuation from this post because once again I really like drawing fighting scenes but barely have excuses to draw them and Hansel has a very punchable face and personality lmao

Kiran is a REALLY good fighter, one of the best in town but Hansel is quite literally a fucking monster (I hid his demon tf because Kiran can’t see it) so despite her best efforts he is just toying with her 😭

She is fighting for her fucking LIFE

Hunter the slacker

Hunter is an NPC that the Player Character can interact with during club hours at school and at the cafeteria at the School on Oxford Street. Described by his peers to be very down to earth, laid back and approachable but mostly keeps to himself. He's also described as extremely attractive.

He's the lead singer and main guitarist of a band called 'CRⱯSHout' working title that practices in the spare practice room. He's passionate about music and completely immersed in his craft.

Jude the impulsive

Jude is an NPC that was first hinted and mentioned by Hunter during their first interactions with the Player Character. He makes his first appearance when the Player Character unlocks the Rundown Apartment after reaching a certain level of affection with Hunter the Slacker. Hunter describes Jude as a very temperamental and misunderstood person. Jude would come off as hostile originally to the Player Character.

He's the bassist of the band and would often be seen in the practice room with Hunter practicing during club hours. He does not attend School at Oxford Street though and would prefer spending his days skulking around the Industrial Alleyways. Don't go looking for him unless you're ready to handle the consequences.

Reed the player

Reed is an NPC that the Player Character would come across after unlocking the Rundown Apartment. He demonstrates himself to be quiet and low-energy, being found mostly reserved and non-responsive to most of the Player Character's prodding and questioning. Hunter would often joke that Reed's energy is mostly reserved for band practice and nothing much else. He is described to be rather handsome and very attractive due to his mysterious aura.

He's the drummer of the band and would also be seen alongside Hunter and Jude practicing during club hours at the School at Oxford Street. Similar to Jude, Reed does not attend school and much prefers to spend his days in the apartment lazing around and smoking weed. Don't let his looks fool you though - he's a lot more physically active than he lets on.

Bryce the detrimental

Bryce is an NPC that also lives in the Rundown Apartment alongside Hunter, Jude and Reed as their fourth roommate. However, the Player Character would first encounter Bryce on the sidewalk on their way to School during the First Week of School after Summer vacation. Bryce would be passed out drunk on the street and there would be many onlookers wondering if he was an overworked gigolo.

At the Apartment, Reed would be the first to mention Bryce and describes him as 'interesting.' He's the supporting guitarist of the band and the oldest of all the members of CRⱯSHout. He does not attend the School at Oxford Street because he's too busy running away from the ghosts of his past. When the band is not practicing, the Player Character can find him on Harvest Street loitering.
