Finally finished the lineup blame Jester for how long it took that man made me doubt any ounce of character design skills I had in me with how many times i redrew him specifically and how much I dragged out finishing up doctor and TT because it meant getting to adapting his design😭

I think she would immediately clock whatever act they may be putting on (game recognizes game lmao) but way she goes about them would vary greatly depending on their own goals

She may read them as potential rival to get rid off if they cross her in any way

Or she may in the opposition get along with them greatly because of innate honesty of being able to peek behind each other’s masks if they actually benefit her

I had been restraining myself from giving in to the tiny lil fat devil in my head that was demanding to be fed a short comic of Harlequin chasing Ana through the forest and getting her genuinely mad with how quickly and easily he catches up to he every time and taunts her with those little phrases like “Aw, cmone, try a little harder!”/“Round 2?”/etc before letting her go to catch up inevitably again

Here are some random bullet points that I come up with throughout the day and note down to not forget

Majority of those are ways in which her mother abused/neglected her so beware of triggering subjects and heavy topics

Second, do you think Ana would enjoy setting up human men knowing her supernatural suitors are very much the jealous types? I feel like if she had residency at a hospital with an insufferable jerk as lead surgeon she could get them taken care of pretty easily.

Oh and I can absolutely imagine Ana doing a set up like this and it’s not like Pierrot or Harlequin wouldn’t be eager to help her with that “problem” (We literally saw what Pierrot does to a customer at the coffee shop that was just rude to us. Granted I think Harley is WAY more levelheaded than Pierrot in that regard but I think if Ana wanted him to do something about whoever she wants to be dealt with he would do it gladly lmao. In their fucked up dynamic he would probably consider it like flirting or chivalrous gesture or would even feel flattered by her seeking his assistance)

But they can’t be reckless about how they go about dealing with human problems so some setup would be required

Imma hold your hand when I say this and I mean it as a person who wishes to give Ana a harem and who loves exploring relationships dynamics lmao

I cannot imagine it working great with Ana and THE WHOLE crew being poly 😭

At most it could work out with Pierrot/Harlequin/Doctor/Ana (and even THAT would be a whole balancing act of its own, ik there is a planned ending for MC to end up with both Pierrot and Harley and I still would like to see how exactly they would make it work but it gotta be a challenge and throw in that giant bird in there and it’s gonna be even more complicated task lmao)

It’s really hard to imagine Ticket Taker and Jester being able to view Ana as safe enough to trust and even if they would after some great deal of time warm up to her it would be the type of trust you provide to your pet to not destroy the house while you are gone lol

I like to think that Ticket Taker keeps as much distance between himself and her as possible because she managed to make him genuinely smile behind the mask once and it MORTIFIED him (with his intense hatred for humans being smitten so seemingly effortlessly was extremely out of character) that he decided that best decision is to avoid her all together because last thing he wants is to get wrapped up in her net and not even notice it

Don’t get me wrong he still treats her with the same disregard, look from above and polite dismissal as any MC it’s just that Ana makes him feel extremely alert because he isn’t stupid enough to underestimate the effect she has on others the townsfolk and crew included

And Jester is basically in the same boat as TT except he isn’t afraid of Ana’s charm because he can see right through it because it’s all the same tactics he applies

Except he looks down on her and her execution because he got like decades if not centuries of experience on her so to him her act just feels like child play and the only reason why it works out for her so well is her cute pretty face

She kinda looks down on those habits but in that practical sense of “Keep it up, you are going to make me richer when I am going to be your doctor.”

Also because as a big bosomed woman myself she looks like she has a g cup and on a frame that small she gotta have back problems.

Oh Ana is actually pretty tall! A solid 5’7-5’8

It’s just that the Circus Crew are all tall as hell so they make her look small 😭

As for her bra size she probably gotta be like 28K UK bra size, so yeah back pain is absolutely her constant state of existence especially with profession she decided to pursue (surgeon lmao)

She fairs well enough because she has a good enough muscle tone to keep her posture proper but I definitely imagine her feeling tired by the end of the day lmao (she is absolutely planning to get a breast reduction eventually)

I think Pierrot would definitely offer her a shoulder rub/back massage since he wants to be of use so badly

on that topic my friend @r4inyd4yzzzzz made a silly lil doodle once with the reason why Harlequin would like Ana so much

Oh, nah Ana is East Asian! Chinese 🇨🇳 specifically

I mentioned it several times and referenced it in her clothes but people keep confusing her for South East Asian or I had couple of people say she looks mixed black and I think it’s because I draw her with deep skin tone

Majority of people tend to associate East Asians with very pale skin color and those regions themselves are ridden with heavy colorism and only showcasing paper white skin in movies/shows/art/etc. so I wanted to make it a point to give Ana a very deep skin tone and for her to be still acknowledged as head-turning beauty

Okay I know it’s going to sound very uninspired because she voiced Mulan, but Ming Na Wen!

I took a lot of inspiration from her role as June from Joy Luck Club when fleshing out Ana’s character (general base of experience of a Chinese American immigrant raised by the mother and cultural impact of it all)

But I also ADORE the way Ming’s voice sounds when she voices Madam Kaji from Blue Eyes Samurai, specifically that monologue cause AGH it feels so much like something Ana would say if she let her edges show proper

I like my women a bit "evil". But yeah I think she pairs really well with the circus. All of the circus members have something they are guilty of so introducing Ana seems kind of like their karma made flesh.

I feel like introducing somebody with on par deplorable morals is entertaining to watch unravel lmao

Ana in general was originally made to be “best reward + worst punishment in one package” type of character so I am glad it works in this settings too

I will be honest, I didn’t expect that much interest in Ana as a character so I am flattered that people are curious about her!!

When Ana considers you close to her and actually important she start viewing you as part/extension of herself. Your wellbeing is her wellbeing, your sorrow is her sorrow, etc.

She will show genuine acts of care/help that aren’t motivated by what she can get in return because she wants you to be happy because your happiness is her happiness too!
