Making some Halloween brooches to celebrate the season… of horror!

All three cases together. They fit perfect for the three models I have. ID L/P’s, M!x, and 4U/4U+. I am very pleased with how these turned out. Aaaaand you can see my first attempts at learning how to make the cases in the background…

It seems my case is getting some likes, so I felt I could show not only the front but the back! The yarn I got is so much fun and I have three different colors of it, so when I’m not studying tomorrow I might make the others for some variety.

New case for my M!x, I really like how this one feels in my hands.

Figured I'd take a picture of all the tools and matterials used to make my beetle. Only things not shown is the foam tray I use to needle felt on and the wire I used for the antennas (which you can't see so well in the shot anyways). Inspired by my favorite felt artist Hine Mizushima.

WIP. A rough first attempt at a potato beetle. Needle felted wool, embroidery floss, copper wire, glass beads painted white, and some glue. Just needs his little antennae.

I’ve been doing some pixel crafts lately and remembered I had this cross stitch diy keychain from an old kawaii box, so I gave it a go. Thankfully I had embroidery floss on hand, the thread included was very thin. Then my boyfriend and I went out and played pokemon go with his phone (mine is too old), got drunk and now nursing our hangovers. :D
