Someone asked me on IG if I used a 3D printer to make my skull mug template. While I wouldn’t be opposed I don’t actually know how to do 3D modeling or how to use a 3D printer. 😅 Tbh 2D printers make me cry 😂😭 I’m not the most technologically advanced person is what I’m getting at so…. I just made this out of polymer clay 😬😅
I have immense respect for digital artists both 2D and 3D. I simply can’t do what they do
I want to make a few other templates like this to include some full body skeletons as well as maybe one of the heart of skulls but this one took a while so I have to mentally prep for the next one. Also it’s a bit of a mind game because you have no idea if the template is going to work until it’s out of the oven 😂😭 So there’s a few disasters around my studio rn

As artists, we need to start tracking our artwork, as painfully annoying as it is. Not sure if I'm the only one, but you never really consider the fact that having a bunch of good work means nothing if you don't know where any of it is.
I started tracking my work to see a proper scope of my practice and have a paper trail of sorts for whatever this becomes. I made a spreadsheet to make tracking things cute and fun (well, as fun as this sort of thing can be) and wanted to share it with y'all in the hopes that it may help someone else paint an archival picture of their work!
