Hello! If you’re from the HiJack server, you may have seen me mention writing this a few times over the last few, I don’t know… years? Because the first few chapters of this plot surely has been sitting in my drafts for years. I still remember getting this idea as I was waiting for my turn to go on stage and get my high school diploma 🤣
Anywho, now it’s here!
“Deny Thy Father, Refuse Thy Name” is a Frostcup Romeo and Juliet AU, and the first of what I hope to be a small series of ficlets based off of my favorite Shakespearean play writes. Though I will say just judging by the way that the plot took me, this isn’t as to-the-book as “beste av norge” was to Song of Achilles.
This is a much darker retelling.
It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, so be warned and read tags 🙂↕️ and let me know if I missed anything.
