for me that makes me cherish relationships for what they are/were, even though it will end eventually. i can celebrate the amazing 4 years i had with my college friends, even though i’m sad there are people i haven’t talked to in years since graduation. i can celebrate a good relationship, even if it ended because we out grew each other. 

relationships are important to me, my mental health, and my well being. and the fact that relationships and friendships end isn’t enough of a reason for me to not have them. an amazing transformative powerful relationship is still wonderful, even if it ends. my relationship has given me so much joy and peace and growth, that even if tomorrow he decides he’s done, i still will celebrate what we had. it would hurt. it would hurt so bad. but i wouldn’t trade this moment in love for anything, even if it meant avoiding the pain of it ending
