Since the internet is a “no man's land” it is very difficult to control what happens on the cyber space so how can we defend us from people attacking us, from trolls. There are many people who are very interested on taking action to defend those who are attack by people hiding behind a monitor. The big question is “how do we punish trolls” or anyone who attacks or threats people they don not agree with them, is there an effective option?  

Drawing on her personal path from indifferent citizen to passionate campaigner, Victoria Bonney implores us to examine the ways citizens and elected officials alike are using social media to change democracy - for the better.
