Just when I was feeling the pressure of nursing school, I landed on this page for today, I had pre-deco-Ed these since before school even started. It seems so fitting, as well as then affirmations of the day ^_^ maybe nursing school won’t be so bad !

Also first day of nursing school was amazing! It definitely seems manageable, I will continue keeping positively this entire semester. I did meditate before hand and I think that REALLY worked in my favor!

You’re so young! You have so much life! Why are you spending it on a phone? As a society we have allowed ourselves to become distracted and numb - the hours spent scrolling amount to nothing but money into the bank accounts of advertisers - you’re not a human being to them you’re a consumer …

We need to go back to our roots - we need to do more, create more and live more rather than living vicariously through others …

I want to have skills I can pass along to my children … but as of right now I can say I have none … this is why it’s so important to learn … to do things … things that aren’t just swiping your life away.

Cute journal spread! Although it obviously isn’t the 20th and 21st, I’m pre deco-ing (?) I FINALLY start nursing school in ONE MORE DAY! Which is something I’ve wanted since I was younger, and I’m excited but I’m also so worried about all the schoolwork, and not being able to do my own things >_<. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to get selected into this very selective nursing program, but I’m so scared!!! Wish me luck!! ^_^

I can’t not do this everyday! Recently starting the beginning of this year I decided I’d begin affirming for myself! I wrote affirmations on little pieces of paper that I found either on Pinterest, tiktok, and even tumblr! Every morning I pull a little handful out and write in my journal!
