The Journal Building Artist Residency Program provides studio space in an otherwise underutilized Building to 16 artists working in a variety of media. At the Journal Building we've gotten good at saying goodbye, our temporary residence has repeatedly ended and been extended. The Long Goodbye features self-portraits from each of the resident artists to represent and encapsulate their experience as a working artist in the rapidly changing city. @anniewalkerart is a contemporary, working artist from New Orleans currently residing in San Francisco.
