Atsushi in London

I already did a theory about this, but in the newest interview, it has been said that Atsushi did, in fact, not go to the past!!

But why does London look like the 1800's?

In the past I did say, that I believe the "Order of the Clock Tower"/ Agatha have a time travel ability. They might be in the present with the world, but London still lives in the past, if that makes sense.

Furthermore, I also talked about how London might be the "Promised Land" the "Page" talked about when Atsushi got transported. The place where abilities cease to exist because in Fyodor's eyes, they are sins. The "Promised Land" has something to do with God. So, in short, in this place, people do not have abilities and might even hate them. The only exception is the "Order of the Clock Tower"

Now I think that Agatha was the one who teleported him, not Fyodor. Since years, she has been hinted at being the next antagonist and now officially being confirmed.

The first page Illustration.

By Dazai's hand, there is a japanese paper called "Genkoyoushi" (=Manuscript). People have speculated that this may be the Port Mafia contract, but I doubt that because I don't think they use that paper for doing contracts.

If you look down left, you see Ranpo's glasses next to the sheets of paper. This does look like a contract and may be significant to the Port Mafia transfer. Though it could also be paperwork about the Detective Agency, since right now, they are being questioned in court. Does Ranpo's glasses tell us that he knows who the transfer is, or may this hint that he will the transfer?

In the middle, we see an upside down Yokohama, which can be seen as an "alternative Dimension." We know that in BSD, there is a canon Multiverse (example: Beast) caused by The Book. Agatha is certain to be the next antagonist, and perhaps she, too, is after The Book. This multiverse may have something to do with the upcoming arc.

Atsushi in London

Even though Kyouka touched the paper, as soon as Atsushi touched the last piece of paper of The Page, he seemed to get teleported to old England. It immediately took effect. While being brought to the past, a voice was heard,

"Gather at the promised Land."

In the cannibalism arc, Fyodor said something similar to Dazai.

"We shall meet in the Promised Land."

In the Bible, in the Genesis, the Promised Land was mentioned. It's where God chose to bestow, where people find great happiness. The enemy of it is sin. In Fyodor's eyes, abilities are sins. This is why I think that the Promised Land is a place where abilities cease to exist. But Atsushi went to the 19th century London?

Abilities have at least existed for a hundred years. Bram was a human who turned into a vampire due to a certain ability. He was already a vampire around the 15th century, when we saw Fyodor meeting Bram in Sigma's memories. Fyodor wanted to catch a glimpse of Bram. Maybe because he never saw an ability user (other than himself) before?

The chapter is perhaps hinting that past London is suppose to be the Promised Land. Did abilities in this timeline cease to exist? Thought if that is the case, it means the abilities have been brought back.

But another possibility is that Atsushi will meet Fyodor in this timeline, and we will see Fyodor's adventure to create the Promised Land.

The Paper

The teleportation effect may have been a work of Fyodor or Agatha. Though, I don't think Fyodor had any intentions of doing that because he was sure he'd won in this war. Plus, nothing was written on the page, so it wouldn't make sense.

Bsd chapter 129 spoiler + past chapters

As Fyodor was dying, Dazai asked him a question, "What even were you in the end?"

I think just like Atsushi, he's asking him why he would do this. What the point in all of this is, why exactly he needed to do this.

Fyodor answered because "he hates them all."

Is that really the truth?

Fyodor stated that he loves all humans equally once. The reason why he has done all of this is because he knows that abilities just bring harm in this world. To the ability users themselves and others. That's why he sees them as a sin. They only bring disasters in the end.

He was looking in the sky while saying it. Seems as if he thinks that God has forsaken him again, just like in the last chapter. The chapte that came out this month 2 years ago was called "forsaken," so it fits.

No, Fyodor does not hate them. His motivation was not hate against ability users, only abilities. The reason why he said that is because he knows that they won't understand his feelings for them. He stated this today, too. In that moment, he did feel hatred, since they defeated him, destroyed his plan of making "peace." He might have felt angry and confused towards God, but he does not hate them. Fyodor said those words, knowing this is probably how the people will feel towards him. He didn't try to explain himself. He just accepted it.

In the very last panel, Fyodor seems relieved. After all those immortal years, he can finally die.

It might be that we will see his memories of when he was a kid, the beginning of his planning, the motivation for all of this through Sigma soon.

Spoilers!!

Before the new chapter comes out, I'm going to talk about who the new appearance might be.

Many people had many theories on who that might be, and some of them I do not agree. I will be talking why I don't agree with them, in a later post.

My bet is that this silhouette is Atsushi with Akutagawa's coat. We saw them fighting together twice before, where Akutagawa gave him his Rashomon. They fought against Ivan, and against Fukuchi. Both of them were Fyodors accomplice, and now this time they're fighting against Fyodor with that power.

The silhouette fits. The long black coat, a flying strand of hair that Atsushi has, the wide pants and the big shoes.

Someone also reminded me that with the Rashomon, he is able to attack from afar with the Rashomon, and he did slice the monster we see.

Not an analysis!!

Past chapters + 126 spoilers

In the new chapter, we saw all 3 organizations returning again! Everyone from season 1 to season 2.

I'm going to talk about Fyodor, his ability, and theories that'll maybe happen!!

FYODOR:

Fyodor already had a backup plan. Instead of flying with that one jet, he made two appear and hid in the second one, so they'll get fooled that he's in there, that's why he created those monster to distract Atsushi and Akutagawa.

But Ranpo knew that'll happen. That'swhy the truck came into play, which is able to fry all electronic devices, including jets.

Fyodor probably didn't know about their plan since the truck was brought on short notice. It was fast thinking.

The jet crashed down, but I doubt that Fyodor is dead. That won't be so easy.

HIS ABILITY:

We all know what his ability is. If someone has the intent to kill Fyodor and actually does it, the one will become the new body for Fyodor.

"So what about the one who brought the jet here and is responsible for Fyodor's crashing? Shouldn't he be killed any second now?"

That's true. But I've discovered something new about his ability. His ability only works when someone kills him directly. Just like the other people who directly tried it. Bram, the soldier, etc. We don't know if the intent is needed since what will happen when someone accidentally kills Fyodor? We don't know.

In the new chapter, Taneda is the one who was able to bring the truck and fry all electronic devices in the area. But he won't die. Because Taneda didn't kill Fyodor directly like the others did.

If the intent is needed, then it may be that he didn't have the intention to kill Fyodor. His only intent was to fry all electronics, you get what I mean? And even if not, what he did does not count as a direct elimination. Fyodor's ability has limits.

I'm very sure that must be the case, it's either one of them, or both. Ranpo was sure that they'd won. He accepted that plan because he knew that'll work. Ranpo is one of the best detectives. He would never accept that plan. He immediately would know that wouldn't work. it's Ranpo, after all.

What will happen in the future?:

My theories are that we'll see more about Fyodors' backstory, his motivation for all this, maybe even soon after this special chapter. Like I said, I doubt Fyodor is gone. It also may be that he wasn't in that jet after all, but Ranpo would have known.

Chapter 125,5 spoilers + recent ones

ATSUSHI:

In this chapter, you can see Atsushi's guilt on not being able to save the citizens in the airport. He couldn't do it because Akutagawa wouldn't help him. He was going for Fyodor since more people would have died if they had let him go. At that scene, Atsushi got a flashback of him at the orphanage, yelling for help. Around that scene, he probably got a PTSD attack from the yelling and him being scared, what made him yell, "Help me!"

After he saw that the ADA had arrived, he teared up because he was just relieved and happy to see them again after all this chaos.

YOSANO AND TERUKO

Yosano is not seen with the Agency since she's probably healing the civilians and helping them escape (with Katai's help) who may have been hurt by the rubble of the destroyed buildings.

Teruko is also not seen. She is one of those who have been slashed by the Amenogozen. She is roaming around somewhere, grieving Fukuchi or/and helping Yosano and Katai with the evacuation plan.

FYODOR:

I think Fyodor knows that the Amenogozens have been defeated, or he else wouldn't have summoned these other creatures. I'm very sure he knows if the Amenogozen dies, the ones it slashes will return, the Agency will fight alongside, and Atsushi and Akutagawa will attempt to catch up to Fyodor. He may have something cooked up. We'll see in the next chapters.

AYA:

Aya has not been mentioned for a while now. She should be evacuated with the others, soon enough. Plus, Bram told Akutagawa he should take care of her, meaning she should have been put somewhere safe, away from the fight and falling rubble.

KYOUKA AND LUCY:

Kyouka and Lucy couldn't leave the room because the rubble was blocking their exist. But in this chapter, they have been seen fighting together with their abilities against the monster. Probably the Agency (my guess is, Kenji) removed the rubble. I have no idea if it makes sense, though, since you can't see where Lucy's room is.

I must say I'm surprised by so many people being confused that the people who have been slashed are alive.

Asagiri confirmed in the last chapters, where Atsushi was in the Amenogozen realm, that they only had been absorbed, not killed.

I'll be talking about the new official illustration that came out in this chapter.

OFFICIAL ILLUSTRATION

Atsushi is seen halfway lying on the floor, as if he has difficulty standing up. He is exhausted but is not giving up. That's why the lines "You can still stand... You can still fight." It can be that those words come from his comrades.

Two swords are next to him, look like the Amenogozen and the Tsuki no gozen. These are the only two swords in this image. The blades are broken, sticking down to the other panel. A broken sword can symbolize: "overcoming adversity, rising stronger from defeat, and embracing new beginnings."

The view behind Atsushi looks calm. No buildings whatsoever. It's white and grey. White symbols a "new beginning" that gives hope. Grey symbols "neutrality, balance, and detachment"

Meaning it can be that good things will happen soon.

On the right side, there are the characters who have been slashed by Amenogozens. But Ranpo is also in between them. This can mean he has been slashed, too, but we didn't see the panel, or something happened to him when the explosion came after Fyodor putting the two swords together.

The characters are also fading to red. Red like the sky in the lower panel.

The color red can mean "sacrifice,danger, sorrow." It can also be something positive, but in this context, it's negative.

"Sacrifice" fits since Atsushi tried to sacrifice himself for his friends and sacrificed himself for Akutagawa.

I don't need to explain the "danger" and "sorrow" parts.

The destroyed Yokohama airport is shown in the image. It's the current situation right now after Amenogozen destroyed it.

There's also a Shinto-Shrine in the image. In the previous chapters, there were many shrines in the middle of the airport, where the transformation of the Amenogozen happened.

Torii gates are used for Kamis (Gods). They can travel through it. Since Amenogozen is basically a God, many shrines have appeared making a circle, so it makes sense.

Manga spoilers

Atsushi:

Atsushi is seen here looking serious into the audience. Always when he's in a cover, he's looking at us.

Atsushi's eye is pink and yellow, but that's his usual eye colours. The yellow presents his Tiger.

They're shinier than normal. But only the right eye (Our right.) When an eye shines bright, it's a metaphor for being full of life, passion, etc. They also indicate strong emotions.

We also see a bit of his hair in front of the lower half of his left eye, covering the yellow part. One eye being covered symbolizes an encounter with true evil.

"One eye is constantly turned into darkness."

Atsushi may see Fyodor as the "True Evil." His left eye is also darker than the right shiny one.

"The darkness being something the person can never unsee."

This can hint at Atsushi's childhood. He will never forget all the abuse he has got. The yellow part of the eye might be covered on purpose, his ability, the Tiger is the reason for his misfortune.

In the right eye, there's life and hope. In the left eye, there's darkness.

The Illustration behind:

Characters are in these small panels. The panels look like shattered glass. Exactly like the one, when Amenogozens slices his victims.

On the left, there's Atsushi at the airport. Next to him is Fukuzawa's eye and hair.

At the next panel, the young boy there looks like young Akutagawa running in his old clothes.

The next panel MIGHT be the destroyed Yokohama airport. And under there is Fyodor.

By the next one, it's hard to tell what that is. Maybe the Amenogozen?

The Headmaster in disguise of Dazai is under the picture. And under him should be Fyodor again? It looks like the clothes he weared. But the eye has a softer expression.

You also can see a person in this panel, but I'm not sure who that is.

In the darker panel, there might be some silhouettes?

And here, I can only recognize Atsushi's face. His shocked expression after his friends got absorbed.

Chapter 124,5 spoilers + previous chapters

This chapter was a short one, so I'll analyse Fyodor, Fukuchi, Amenogozen, the ones who got absorbed, and the new enemy that popped up. I'll also tell some theories to it.

FYODOR AND THE AMENOGOZENS:

At the end of the chapter, we saw Fyodor holding his hand up with his mark glowing up.

We saw in the previous chapter that Fyodor uses that mark for summoning his subordinate (Amenogozen). Now he has summoned a new subordinate, who has the same mask as the Amenogozens did.

He was away for a while during the fight between the Amenogozen and Atsushi, Akutagawa. In that time, he switched his outfit and took a jet to fly away.

He has stated that he'll leave the place in a previous chapter, so it's not surprising.

I also wanna note something important. His mark. In all chapters where he used it to command Amenogozen it only glowed.

But in this chapter, where the Amenogozens don't live anymore, his hand didn't only glow something came out of it.

I think the reason for that is because he is creating a new Devine Being or something similar to it. Meaning, he has the power to create similar creatures as the Devine being.

Fyodor has the ability to summon another Devine being. In chapter 120,5, he said that he got the Amenogozen of the past to the present. So I'm sure he would also be able to create a similar Being to it.

He might have gotten the Amenogozen's power in his hand, meaning he'd be able to create a Devine Being. He also might have got BOTH Amenogozens powers in his hand. Two Amenogozens power in a mix.

Fyodor knew after Atsushi and Akutagawa defeated the Amenogozens, they'll attack him immediately, that's why he summoned a new Being.

New Enemy:

It looks scarier than the normal Amenogozen. If my theory is correct about Fyodor having the two Amenogozens power, that means this creature has more strength. It got summoned by both Amenogozens powers. It's a mix of them two.

Or it can also be that it's the Amenogozen, but with another form, since the Past Amenogozen is from the past, I'm not sure if its power will mix with the Present Amenogozen.

(If you look at its hair, you'll notice the same 2 strands of hair in the middle what the Amenogozens and Fukuchi had.)

About the absorbed ones and Fukuchi:

The two Amenogozens got defeated, so where are the others?

My theory is they're in the new Being. Since I said that this Devine Being might be a mix of the two Amenogozens or Amenogozen in another form, they could have been transported there.

Chapter 124,5 spoilers

Last chapter I have stated, that Ueda Akinari might die, duo of being out of the Devine being where they were sealed and being 1500 years old. They are still a human being, and humans can't live more than 1000 of years when you're not immortal.

I was right about Akinari! They indeed did die and also with the same reason what I have stated!

Akanari lived for 1500 years, only because they were sealed in the Devine Being. It's possible to survive there, but as soon as they're out, they'll crumble.

Bsd manga spoilers + Stormbringer + Dead Apple + Dazai, Chuuya Age 15

Asagiri confirmed yesterday that after Dazai left the Port Mafia, Chuuya thought he died after not being able to find him.

I saw people saying that Chuuya didn't care about it, after he thought Dazai died. The fandom has been saying since years that Chuuya doesn't care about Dazai.

TRANSLATED BY HUAWYN ON TWITTER!! :

"Since he hadn't found Dazai, who was working as a detective in Yokohama, he probably thought Dazai was already dead. After all, Dazai always wanted to die, so Chuuya didn't expect much."

The truth is, Dazai and Chuuya dislike eachother, but they have a very strong bond and care about eachother in a different way. People can have complex feelings to eachother and care about the person.

They have know eachother since 7 years, they literally saw eachother grow up as adults. In the Port Mafia they were partners and even got their own partner name "Double Black / Soukoku", which shows what a great team they are. You also can see that through the manga chapters.

In the prison arc, Dazai immediately knew Chuuya was not a vampire. They could even communicate with each other without talking with their mouths. They created a plan in secret immediately. This is how good they understand each other.

How can someone look at them and say "Oh yeah, Chuuya didn't give a hell, when he thought Dazai died." Chuuya doesn't care about Dazai." Dazai doesn't care about Chuuya."

Obviously, they care about eachother, they just won't show it so completely well. I think you can even see 15!Dazai having fun with 15!Chuuya. And when they met again.

Maybe people say, "He only acted like that because the mission was on the line." Yes, it was, but you can't act like he didn't have a worried face. He genuinely thought Dazai was heavily injured. And he was super mad at Dazai when he was only joking and maybe slightly embarrassed after letting that side out of him.

In the Guild arc, when they fought against Lovecraft, Dazai got thrown into a tree, and Chuuya, who supposedly "doesn't give a shit about Dazai," looked like this.

In the same arc, Chuuya stated he celebrated with a Petrus 1889 after Dazai left. I'm actually surprised how many people believe that he genuinely was happy, maybe because the Anime ruined this scene and many Anime watchers saw it like that.

In the manga, his face expressing does NOT seemed pleased. He is looking down, no happiness seen anywhere. Chuuya felt betrayed when Dazai just vanished from the Port Mafia without a word to anyone. They were close to eachother, I think more than anyone in the Port Mafia.

In Dead Apple, you see Chuuya risking his life for Dazai to save him, when there was a possibility Dazai was already dead, but he trusted his gut.

Imagine seeing a person who you trust your life with, suddenly vanishing without a word, and not appearing for 4 years. Chuuya thought Dazai was dead and then he suddenly was found in the ADA.

Chuuya also seemed angry when Dazai was in that basement and seeing Chuuya for the first time in 4 years again.

Reminder that this was 2-3 years ago before Dazai left. Chuuya lost his Sheep friends, the Flags, the detective, and Adam. They all were close to him, even more than Dazai at that time. After that, Dazai was the closest person to Chuuya.

Lastly, I want to address Chuuya's old friends, his deceased ones, and the Sheep ones.

Chapter 124 spoilers + last chapters

The new chapter came out a few hours ago, and I want to talk about a few things. This will not be only theories, but I think some people are maybe confused by this chapter, so I'll clarify it!

About Atsushi , Akutagawa , the absorbed people (+ Fukuchi) and Ueda Akinari

ABOUT ATSUSHI

After he breaks through Uedas chains and took them with him, he saw Akutagawa being killed. Atsushi then has used the ability to turn back time to save him.

"Why is he able to do that? Isn't his ability only the tiger?"

His ability is only the tiger. The reason why he can turn back time, just like the Amenogozen did, is because he was in Amenogozen space, the place where everyone and he got absorbed.

The Headmaster said this space is where the Past and Future exist. Atsushi was the only one who was conscious in this realm, he is the Tiger after all. It has been said by Fyodor, the tiger ability is something special.

So if Atsushi is the only conscious person here, and even was able to get to the core of Amenogozen: Ueda, he should be able to control the space, meaning he can go back to the past and go in the future.

ABOUT AKUTAGAWA

I think people think that Akutagawa has "come back from death" "risen from death".

Well actually, he really died last chapter. Yes, he is alive, but only because Atsushi went onto the past and changed the outcome. But speaking realistically, Akutagawa has died in the alternative universe, just like Fukuchi had many times, but he went into the past to change the outcome.

So I wouldn't say "he came back from the dead". I wouldn't use that wording. Because in this new universe, it's like he never died because Atsushi saved him.

ABOUT THE ONES WHO GOT ABSORBED

Amenogozen has died, the other one has too. After his death we saw, Fukuchi coming out of it.

"Is Fukuchi alive?"

That can't really be confirmed, but in my opinion, I don't really think he is alive. After his body came out bubbly, his body has vanished suddenly.

On the last panel, there's no sign of Fukuchi's body. He wasn't only absorbed, he was used as Amenogozen's vessel, so it's likely he died too.

The others were only absorbed, not killed or used as vessels, so they should come back soon. Akutagawa's absorbed arm also came right back after the Amenogozen died.

ABOUT UEDA AKINARI

In the last Panel we see them falling on the ground after defeating Amenogozen.

We know Ueda was the core of the Amenogozen, but they got out because Atsushi saved them and also cut the chains off. Meaning they should be free now.

I doubt they will die just because they were the core of Amenogozen. After the chains were cut and escaped, Ueda wasn't the core of the Amenogozen anymore. They probably only fainted because they were locked up since 1500 years and suddenly coming out in modern time will make them sick.

A small theory:

But as the core they didn't age physically, so what if because they are out now, their immortality will dissapear and their true age will come, meaning they'll die of very old age. But it can also only be that their immortality will dissapear and they'll live like a normal human again.

Bsd chapter 123.5 spoilers + previous ones, Bsd season 5

In this one, I will talk about Ueda Akinari, Atsushi, Akutagawa and the ending scene of season 5.

About Ueda Akinari

They have stated in this chapter that they are trapped in this dimension and that they are the creator of the two swords, Amenogozen and Tsuki no gozen. Politicians have locked Ueda away so they can be kept alive so the Majesty of God will too.

Did Atushi kill Ueda?

To kill the Devine Being, Ueda must be killed. We saw in this chapter only a glimpse how Atsushi raises his hand to them.

Atsushi saw himself in them when they apologized for creating those swords. My opinion is that he felt pity for Ueda and did not kill them (atleast yet). I have a feeling he broke through their "chains?" and try to get them out of here, so they don't have to die, meaning he wants to help Ueda. I do not think that they will be killed so soon.

About Akutagawa

We saw his head getting crushed at the end of the chapter. Now, the question is, is he alive?

First of all, before this happened, his two arms have been ripped from him. One has been turned into bubbles, the other one where his sword is, is not clear. I do not remember anymore, but is the sword what he holds connected to his hand? Maybe that is the reason it is not bubbling up.

Now, we know that when characters get striked down with the Divine Being's sword, they turn into bubbles. That means, just like the others, Akutagawa's arm must have been taken into the Divine Being, meaning there's no other way to get his arm back unless the Divine Being is killed.

But in the ending scene in season 5, where Atsushi and Akutagawa are together and fighting against the Divine Being, his two arms are there and so is Atsushi.

Remember that the last episode of season 5 came out before the new chapters and that this scene hasn't appeared in the manga, meaning UNLESS Studio Bones changed the anime ending, Akutagawa is alive and should get his arms back. AND the second theory is that, Akutagawa still has the vampire abilities from Bram and can regenerate his arms.

Now about his head. Yes, Vampires have a good regeneration ability in bungou stray dogs, but I am not sure if they are able to regenerate a crushed head. Akutagawa isn't a full vampire anymore, he only has some abilities of one.

We saw that Akutagawa saw a hallucination of Dazai, how he told him "he fought well".

People usually hallucinate specific stuff before their brain and heart shuts down. Akutagawa also heard music playing, it is said that before your death you hear music or another sound in your last moments.

For me the song sounds depressive, it sounds like death.

To the question "Is Akutagawa alive" there isn't exactly an answer, it sounds like he might really be dead, especially the scene where he saw hallucination Dazai. But my personally opinion is, that he is not dead, atleast yet. I just don't think he'll die right after he just came back, and also stay hopeful with the season 5 ending scene.
