Hello! My blog is like, 90% text posts lately, lol.

So I’m just gonna get right to it and say: my family is being evicted. We’ve been working really, really, really hard to try to keep this apartments, but there was a slip up with welfare this month and we ended up being short on rent. Like, REALLY short, and the only way we’d be able to stay here is if we came up with $2,700– which is not only this month, but next month’s rent, as well.

That $2,700 was due tomorrow, and we don’t have it. Me, my mother, and my younger sister all work as much as we can to help provide for my three youngest siblings who are 14, 12, and 10. Not only do I work 30 hours a week, but I pick up hours and spend every waking moment doing commissions, and it still hasn’t been enough.

I don’t know what we’re going to do or where we’re going to go. People don’t just take in 6 people, esp not 4 children. I need the money for us to just survive.

Joshua is there, but not everyone is completely accepting of his return and he lives isolated at the far end of town. If you chose to explore a bit, the residents will give you quests to fill the time and earn positive (or not) reputation.

After being in the city for 24 hours, a scripted event will trigger. A small band of White Legs make a raid against the city and you help take care of it. After the fight is over, a survivor is interrogated and it’s revealed that a bigger invasion is coming. This was only an information gathering test. Of course, it’s all because of Joshua’s presence that this is happening.  (This is the most direct pull from Van Buren. Not long after the Prisoner arrives, the Powder Gangers declare intent to raid the city and you have a short time to resolve the matter.) Which leads to at least three different ways to handle the situation: 1. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”   Convince Joshua to give himself up for his people. Appeal to his faith and desire to be seen as a changed man.

2. “Prepare for war.”   Use his familiarity of Legion tactics to defend the city, make sure the Canaanites are geared up to fight and get the ones who can’t into safety.

MEET THE ARTIST! my last one was about a year ago! These are always my favorite things to make, I think it’s very cool to see how I perceive myself at different points in my life.
