Man, last year me was such a naïve soul. Let’s just change that goal to a more realistic (pessimistic) 30. I can confidently say I doubt I’ll have my shit together before September, but hey the naïve soul inside can dare to dream. While it would be ideal, I make no promises.

I think I’m gonna post my thoughts here. It seems like the best place to vent to an abyss.

The fact that I forgot I had a tumblr. I swear I'm going senile. This one person who literally has not changed themself since grade 10. How do you not even change your angry teen angst eyeliner. How can you be stuck in 2006? I just don't understand! People who CONSTANTLY post throwback pictures. Once in a while is fine. But every single day? Seriously you don't even look like that now. And we can all see the 2005 time stamp in the bottom corner from your Kodak digital camera you probably still obsess over. Instagram drives me insane. So does Facebook. So does my phone. At work today I literally realized I hadn't texted once all weekend. Contemplating getting rid of it. My dad has a point with not having a cellphone. I get it now. I'm old and so OK with it. Technology doesn't run my life. RANT OVER.

Good morning internet! I was up until 2am this morning reading a free eBook on my iPad. I don't even know what its called I just got obsessive and needed to read the whole thing. I was wide awake at 830. That's 6 hours of sleep. I always minus half an hour because I can't pass out at exactly 2am. Eating my waffles and drinking my heart-busting preworkout. Today I'm gonna get shit done. Happy Tuesday! 👐

Good morning internet! Yesterday was so full of chores and shit that I didn't even have time to post anything! I had an amazing weekend. I'm so lucky and happy with my life right now. I don't have much to say today except I'm tired and have to work out and make spaghetti and meat-a-bawlz for dinner. I flat out asked Dylan what his favorite food was, because I've never asked... Even after 4 years. So finally he told me he wanted spaghetti and meat balls. So that's what I'll make my man for dinner tonight. I've never made meatballs so this'll be an experience. I'm tired and lazy and unmotivated today. Netflix has me in its grasp so I'm gonna have to take some preworkout and hope my heart doesn't blow up. Bye for now! Also side note: I might not post on the weekends depending on if I'm busy or not. Weekdays I have all the time in the world

Good morning internet! My plan of working out until I'm dead to get sleep worked wonders! Best sleep and I even woke up before 10am. We also switched sides of the bed which any couple knows is a big deal... And it was great! No elbow to the back. My back is happy today. I was contemplating doing a home workout and skipping the gym BUT I'm gonna go to the gym and rage out an hour of elliptical. I found reading instead of watching TV makes the hour pass so quick. Because reading is exciting the whole time and TV has commercials. Its Friday meaning I get to have my man for 2 full days!!! I'm pretty sure were working on his truck for one of those days which normally wouldn't interest me but he's being so cute about it so how could I say no. He also got a substantial raise yesterday so me being home is literally no problem now. What a relief! Looks like I'm gonna live that housewife life til I'm a student if I can't find anything good in this town. Calgary was a lot easier. You didn't need a degree for high paying jobs but here you do for sure. I don't wanna work for minimum wage. People treat you like shit in those jobs its not even worth it. But I'm off to the gym to get my swol on. Not really I just wanted to test that phrase out and reading it now tells me its not something I can pass off saying. Haha Happy Friday! 👐

I love the winter reprieve as much as the next southern Albertan but the wind is driving my cat crazy. I live in the "windy city" and it's real. I'm talking I got out of my car and the door was almost ripped off with me attached to it. Heisy is having none of it. He keeps trying to hide in the blankets. I'm OK with that because it means a cuddlier kitty. 😘😻☺

Good morning internet! I think I figured out I have the best sleep when I murder my body the day before. Yesterday was designated a rest day. And I regret it. Well not quite regret but I could have worked out or stretched or something haha. I had a terrible sleep. Dylan insisted on putting his elbow in a pillow and said pillow was pressed on my back. I couldn't even move the pillow because he was somehow laying on the pillow and my back/shoulders are still murdered from Tuesday. I'm gonna work my arms more. I want some guns. I managed to swindle that pillow out from under him when he was rolling around. But that was at about 5am this morning. Lesson learned: work my ass off to the point where I can't function and I will sleep like a baby. I think ill do that from now on. Today I need to plan a meal and a half. Yesterday was boring. I made fish sticks and a tomato bacon carbonara pasta with pickles on the side. It was delicious but not as extravagant as it could have been. Also I'd like to note that this morning when I let heisy in my room for our morning cuddles; he was purring upon walking in the door. My cat loves me as much as I love him. I'm so loved by both my big kitties in my house. Dylan told me yesterday he likes me being at home. Not just for the food but because I'm visibly happier. He noticed I'm always smiling and am in such a good mood. I love that. Happy Thursday! 👐

First 2 paintings happened. I didn't realize how long painting takes. But! Its so relaxing.

Based on how cuddly Heisy is in the morning tells me how much he doesn't want me to leave the house. This cuddle is level 1 billion. Love eyes included. Don't worry cuddle-kitt I won't leave til 2. 😻💕💕💕💕💕

Good morning internet! Happy Wednesday! Today is my lovely father's 45th birthday! He's finally getting up there in age but the downside is that this year I'll be 25... A quarter-century old. Thank god I'm going back to school. I'll have my shit together by 25 for sure. Also. My whole entire body HURTS. But its a good hurt. I'm so ready to be jacked. Today I'll do some painting and some work outs and some cat cuddling and some grocery shopping... Bla bla blaaaa it may sound boring to most but these are the things I love. I'm waiting until 11 to start my day as I am not quite awake yet. I slept in til 10, working out kills my energy. I went to bed at 9. 13 hours of sleep works wonders. I know I'm lucky to be able to do that. I love my life! 👐

I dug deep and found the motivation to hit the gym today. I don't even regret it! But now I'll have to top last night's dinner. I think I'm gonna make baked perogies if that's a thing? I'm gonna look it up. And Brussels sprouts will be a part of that meal. My legs are dead! I did 2 arm workouts today. Out of pure habit I tried to put 35s on each side and just about killed my sore arm. Then once I realized the error of my ways I switched em out for some 25s. Now I'm cuddling with my kitten until I chef a meal for my man. 💪😽💕

Today and yesterday I did an inner thigh workout at home and my legs are dead. I didn't go to the gym yesterday but I count my home workout. Finding the motivation is hard. It truly is. You need to have that support system in place and have the right frame of mind. I've been lucky to have a great boyfriend who supports me wholeheartedly even when my ideas can be a little crazy. I'm so lucky and I know it. Working out every day is my thank you to him. He nurtures my emotional self and I'm pushing my physical self. Being able to wear those jeans I bought as motivation is something I am so proud of. I love my life.

Good morning internet! Today is Tuesday and that doesn't really mean much. I'm going to the gym and plan to buy more canvasses. I think painting will relax me and will result in more decorations for our bedroom. I had a weird sleep last night. Barely got 5 hours. I need a minimum of 8 to function, so today will be a little slower. I'm excitedly curious to see what I make for dinner, I'm glad cooking is something I can actually do and enjoy. 👐
