When you’re heartbroken, you’re at your most creative - you have to channel all your energies into something else to not think about it. Contentment is a creativity killer, but don’t worry - I’m very capable of making myself discontented.

You should be with someone who could make you happy, really happy, dancing on air happy.

I wake up in the morning and I feel like I'm missing something. I know that there's something not right, and it takes me a while to remember what it is... then I remember. My best friend is gone. My only friend. It was silly of me to rely so much on one person.

I want to believe that… the dead are not lost to us. That they speak to us… as part of something greater than us - greater than any alien force. And if you and I are powerless now, I want to believe that if we listen, to what’s speaking, it can give us the power to save ourselves.             Then we believe the same thing. 

I don’t know if you’ve ever felt like that. That you wanted to sleep for a thousand years. Or just not exist. Or just not be aware that you do exist. Or something like that. I think wanting that is very morbid, but I want it when I get like this. That’s why I’m trying not to think. I just want it all to stop spinning.
