If you could only watch 3 musicals for the rest of your life, what would you choose and why?

p!nk was a much better host than i expected + really liked that she leaned into "why am i hosting this when i've never been on broadway" + that opening number was lowkey a delight

lowkey this season was kind of a reallll doozy

i keep forgetting that chess did not get a revival nom and only remembered when they did not perform

i am simultaneously surprised that schmig won best book + score + musical and also not at all since it's a ~ love letter ~ to musical theatre. do i think it's deserving of all of that. well.

very confused why they had a chorus line tribute with no dancing and also someone who was not involved with the show at all

insane that bess wohl (l*beration) is the 4th female playwright to win a tony for best play

still annoyed about m*chael arden

was so sure ragtime would do a medley showcasing joshua henry/caissie/branuran/etc. (prologue/new music / our children) so i was v surprised at no medley

lost boys performance was fun

v happy about cats winning choreo and director also cats best performance of the night
