Familiar Face | Luhan & Suho
It was dark, and was certain he was alone. That is, until he heard footsteps, turning on his heel to face where they were coming from. It was a man, someone he’s never seen before, and yet, this person was slowly approaching him. “…-” His own name falls past the other man’s lips and he merely stares at him. How does this man know his name, yet, he doesn’t know his? “Y-Yes?” He asks, his voice shaky. He still wasn’t used to the city, and now that someone knew who he was, he was even more nervous than he was before.
Suho couldnt believe it. He stood for a few seconds, frozen in place. He couldnt move. He couldnt breathe. He felt like he was looking at a ghost. Slowly he walked towards the man in front of him, his pace quickening until he was running. He wrapped his arms around the man and held him to his chest tightly. "I..i thought you were dead..." His eyes filled with tears and he squeezed them shut.
But something wasnt right...he could feel that. Slowly he pulled back, looking the man in the eyes. The familiarity he'd hoped to see wasn't there. All he saw was fear and confusion. He dropped his arms, stepping back fully. "I...I'm sorry...you just...you look like someone I used to know...he had the same name as you...I guess it was just a coincidence." He looked down at the ground, wiping away the stray tears that had fallen from his eyes.
He cleared his throat and the soft demeanor he had held moments before vanished and the hardened soldier returned. "What the hell are you doing out here this late at night. Don't you know it's dangerous? You could get yourself killed. Get your ass back inside." With that he turned and began walking steadily back down the street.
