JONSA HALLOWEEN 2024

Hi Jonsa fam, this spooky season we are back to have some fun!  We will be hosting a four day Halloween event from 28th to 31st October.

This year we have included 3 prompts per day -

28th : Wolf - Curse - Crow

29th : Came back wrong! - Vampire - Autumn

30th : Magic - The Dreadful - Pumpkin

31st : Dragon - Trick or treat - Free Choice

👻You can interpret the prompts as strictly or as loosely as you want to. For eg. The prompt ‘wolf’ can be interpreted as direwolf, werewolf etc. You may even chose not to have any scary element in your entry!

👻 We will be tracking #jonsa halloween & #jonsa halloween 2024 tags for our event this year. So don’t forget to tag your post accordingly. You can also tags us @jonsa-halloween​ in your posts. 

👻 This event is inclusive of all types of fan creations like fanfics, edis, web weaving, gifsets, manips, fan video, meta etc.

A drabble for us means anything between 100 and 500 words. The goal is to tell a story with a limited amount of space. For new writers, writing short stories is less intimidating than embarking on a long fic for the first time. For old hats, writing concise stories can challenge us to get rid of our purple prose and open us up to new creative inspiration. We hope you all participate!

Hey everyone! I know a lot of us have been feeling down and helpless with the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s been really hard, mentally and physically, for a lot of us to deal with, and many people who want to help have no idea where to start. 

That’s why I’ve decided to take fanfic (of at least 2K words) or gifset commisions, to help do my part in the coronavirus relief effort. I will write for any pairing*, and make a gifset or edit for any character you like, if you donate $5 or more to GoFundMe’s COVID-19 Relief Fund and send me a screenshot of your donation. 

If you have any questions, you can send me an ask. If you can’t afford to donate, but still want to help, please reblog this post so it reaches as many people as possible. You can also check out my gifs and fics for an idea of what I can do.

The prompts for Jonsa drabble event are here. The theme is sugar and spice so there are two prompts for each day aimed at inspiring fluff (sugar) or smut (spice). They're not exclusive, so you can use either prompt to write a fluffy drabble or a smutty one or both if you like.

For the purpose of this event a drabble is any written work between 100 and 1000 words.

Dear Jonsa Fam! 

We’re aware that a lot of us are angry right now, that you’re mourning, that perhaps you feel cheated and robbed, but you’re not alone! 

Jonsa is our ship, it belongs to all of us, to our family. We need to fight for it, and we are calling out to all of you to help us! 

As a wise woman once said: “Sometimes canon is wrong,” but we’ll always have fanon. We have each other, and this fandom has so many amazing writers, artists, gif makers and other content creators. 

So that’s we are inviting you to go back to where it all started, to our love for Sansa Stark and Jon Snow, and the potential we saw in them to be each other’s happy ending!
