When you get notice from a third party that they transferred your contract. Call and verify everything.

I have made it very clear that I am not a big fan of Vacation Properties For Less. But, I still buy the majority of timeshares from them. They have the resorts I want and the largest incentives right now.

First Timeshare Given Away

About a week ago I did an eBay listing to sell my 3-bedroom timeshare at Summer Bay. You can see my review of Summer Bay here.

I listed it for a penny with a Buy-It Now price of $1. I found a company to do the closing for $250 and found that the resort charges $100 for a transfer. The total sale was $351.

I gave it a 10 day timeframe to see if there would be any interest.

It sold to day before…

I have updated the figures on my home page with both actual rentals to date and my anticipated rental income.

There is 26 timeshares that have yet to either close or I have a rental agreement, but the date has not arrived yet.

The figures I came up with are close to what the maintenance fees are for the property. I find rent usually is just above or just below that number.

I moved Timeshares 4 U into the number one spot after they transferred The Vacation Village in the Berkshires in under 2 weeks. Paid me my $250 rebate within days of completion. Everything a person could want in a transfer.

The purchase came with free use of week 41.

Its is a Vacation Village property and they have an internal rental program so this was a win for me, and exactly what I look for…
