Also my brother has been playing a lot of Kingdom Hearts lately, Cloud Strife appears in the first one and omg he’s so fucking gorgeous, also I’ve been watching the oneyplays play through for kingdom hearts two and omg all the human characters like Sora and Roxas they all have such beautiful eyes, The graphics have improved so much since the first game. Ugh!!!! I wish that I had a friend group like Roxas and his friends! Maybe one day I’ll find genuine connection?

Was Iggy. Not Joshu. Not anyone else in the series who was unsavory in behavior, They absolutely despised Iggy, for one reason only, and that was because Iggy was known for farting in Polnareff’s face and that was a frequent thing in the anime used simply and solely for comedic relief, this pissed off this person so much, they completely ignored Iggy’s character development, and relished in his unfair demise, the same demise that was because of Vanilla Ice, they told me that they were overjoyed to see Iggy get beaten by Vanilla Ice, they told me Iggy Deserved it, all because of a freaking fart joke, a stupid little running gag, something that wasn’t even anything remotely problematic, it was meant to make people laugh. I tried to brush it off what they said and I asked them why they hated Iggy, I liked how mischievous and a bit of a jerk Iggy was sometimes, he reminded me of my pet dog and how my dog has a big attitude and is very food motivated, the person at the Dungeons and Dragons meetup wasn’t having it, they continued to go into great detail about how much they hated everything about JoJo, the fact that the characters constantly got killed off, the fact that there was so many out of pocket jokes, and that they believed the author was a bad person just because he created the character Dio Brando, I told them that Dio was a very well written villain, they argued he was poorly written and Araki was a bad author, they said that Dio was just a generic villain who only has a sad backstory just because modern villains are too soft these days. Dio is a villain from an 80s manga. A manga from 40 years ago as of now. That is peak retro villain material, also he’s living proof that sympathetic villains have been around since before the 2000s. Also the out of pocket jokes are meant as satire to make fun of bigots, and clearly if you’re mad about characters being killed off, go write a fix it fanfic or ask someone to write one for you. Also this person said they cried when Danny the Great Dane died, while sadistically relishing in Iggy’s death, all because of freaking gross out humor. They made good points like how Hamon should’ve been expanded on in later parts, but they also said that stands definitively suck, and that they should’ve never been created. This person also told me not to sing Love like you from Steven universe, because they had an abusive exe who loved Steven universe, which I get having trauma from your ex, but it shouldn’t have the power to control your likes and dislikes in regards to cartoons and animation. Like that is like saying that because someone cheated on you and dumped you on your birthday, now you can’t watch Adventure Time, because they were a huge fan of it, there’s literally no correlation between a song from a show and your shitty exe, like they assumed that I should know that about them, even though they didn’t even tell me until I tried to sing the song. Don’t let mean/abusive/cruel people ruin things for you, that’s just letting them win. Also this person did not have their priorities straight, how is it that Iggy deserved to die, but Danny was innocent and didn’t deserve to die, NEITHER of the two of them deserved to be killed, they’re both innocent little fur babies, how could you say such a disgusting thing. I wish both of them were still alive in JoJo. I cried when both of them were killed in the respective parts they’re from. I WAS BAWLING MY EYES OUT! And this person saying such a nasty thing about Iggy was cruel and disgusting. Granted this particular D&D group ruined D&D for me almost, but I’m slowly warming up back to getting into D&D. I mean they were a very problematic group of people, so I guess it was for the best that the group disbanded after an incident where one of the group members got me in trouble all because I was lamenting about how someone once called me an ableist slur at my old job during the beginning of the pandemic. You couldn’t even tell people about your own experiences with bigotry without them tone policing and downplaying your negative experiences.

A drawing of Iggy I made this afternoon, I thought it was cute! I drew him in an outfit inspired by Jotaro Kujo’s hat and accessories. I’m really proud of the chains on the collar. It’s my first time actually putting effort into chains!

I drew Grim from Disney’s Twisted Wonderland in a very similar way to the later parts of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’s art style. I think he turned out half decent. I think he looks cute!
