“Against all odds,” Mr. Murray started as he moved some papers on his desk. “I've built and sustained this empire over the last 20 years.”
Three young men sat before him, listening attentively.
“A miracle, truly. No thanks to any of you. I'd love to say that my legacy is in capable hands. But alas, the talent in this room? Is quite disappointing.”
The tallest man in the room rolled his blue eyes like his boss's words meant nothing.
“However, one of you must succeed me and claim my name as the next CEO of Fazbear Entertainment. So, who will be the next Fazbear?”
Mr. Murray looked at his companions, who seemed to be very excited. The men exchanged glances, and then the only blond man in the room—Henry—stood up abruptly.
“I'll be the next Fazbear,” the blond guy started. “...and I'll make you proud, twin.”
At these words, the boss's son—Edwin—stood up indignantly and began irritably:
“Darling! You might smell of cologne, but you reek of desperation. You know, I'm Fazbear.”
“This is not a monarchy,” the tallest man said as he got up slowly from his chair. “I demand a vote. But wait, we all know who will win.”
The blue-eyed man pointed at himself.
“Because while you were all here playing executive dress-up, I've been here actually saving the company!”
“I built our luxury costumes,” Henry said, pointing at the papers on his side of the desk.
“I'm his son! I'm his favorite!” Edwin said, as if it were obvious.
William started to lose his temper. The room grew loud with the men's argument.
“Gentlemen, gentlemen! Silence!” Mr. Murray drew the men's attention away from their argument by clapping his hands. “It's nice to see a competitive spirit. May the best Fazbear win.”
Mr. Murray took the ring bearing the likeness of Freddy Fazbear off his finger and slammed it onto the desk.
William grabbed the ring and began examining it closely. Edwin walked up to the tall man and punched him in the nose so hard that he stumbled back, dropping the ring to the floor.
Blood began to flow from his nose. Henry surreptitiously picked up the ring, prompting Edwin to grab William's mug and smash it against Henry's head.
Still in shock, William grabbed a piece of wire intended for the spring-lock suit and hurled it at Edwin, but the latter dodged the blow.
Adrenaline surging, Henry shoved Edwin onto the desk.
“What the fuck!” Edwin screamed in pain.
After a moment's thought, William threw a notebook—stained with his own blood—at Henry. It struck him in the head, knocking him unconscious.
Edwin tried to strike William again, but William was faster. He shoved him to the floor, and the men began fighting even more fiercely than before.
When Henry regained consciousness, he noticed his companions fighting, with the ring lying right beside them.
Without a second thought, he picked it up and slipped it onto his finger.
William noticed this, shoved Edwin aside, and rushed toward Henry. Grabbing a piece of wire, he drove it into Henry's finger, causing him to groan in pain as the digit was severed from his hand.
Edwin picked the finger up off the ground and lunged at William, driving a spring into his side just below the ribs.
As William screamed, Edwin shoved Henry's finger into his open mouth.
William immediately vomited right there beside them.
Henry lunged at Edwin, and William joined the scuffle.
Amidst the commotion, however, the men failed to notice that their former boss had vanished from the office.
Mr. Murray was sitting in another room, watching a television screen that displayed security footage of the employees fighting.
He glanced at the robot standing behind him, gently tugged at its cable, and attached a ring to it—an identical one to the ring Murray had left behind in the office.
“I wonder when they'll realize...” Murray said to the rabbit as he sipped his wine. “...that you are the next Fazbear... Mimic.”
He took another sip and laughed, looking back at the monitors.
