im going to build a robot guys arent i so cool (gets shot 200 times)
okay but seriously, i cant do much art or posting because im busy with research on how to build the body, the frame, kinds of joints, how to code events caused by "emotions" and so much more.
i do have someone who is taking a robotics class who can help cover the coding aspect of the project. but i still need to draft the body as a sketch on paper, take that sketch, make a realistic and working revamp, make some prototypes for testing, test the code with the prototypes, proceed to buy the necessary materials (hell to buy because the robot is life sized), and figure out how to construct it, then deconstruct my design into blueprints for parts, hook up wires, electricity conducting synthetic skin into the "brain", add its "respiratory system" (cooling system), make the face (screen, potentially?), nail everything together, plus welding, and also add charging port, wig, wire "brain" to "organs" and operating system. plus i dunno how to do any of this sooooooo im cooked chat if yall got concepts for my robot's design PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEEEEEAAASSSSEEEE send me concept designs! or advice hehe, some of yall out there gotta know robotics, huh?
WILL POST UPDATES!!!!!
ive got a lot of research done so far, so i even have a neat little binder that's got LABELLED pockets! (seriously chat i never label things, like ever.)
Your K1-B0 pieces are so cuteee!!! If you have the availability, I’d love to request a K1-B0 x AI reader (think alter ego but reader)
If you don’t have the time that’s completely fine, thanks!!
Thank you so much for the compliment! I wasn't sure if you wanted the reader to have a body like K1-B0 or just wanted them to be a laptop so I wrote both. I wrote some Headcanons and then a mini one-shot for both scenarios!
K1-B0 x AI Reader
(Reader without a body)
Keebo stumbles across your program during one of his deep dives into the school’s system. At first thinking you’re another surveillance AI. But when you speak to him, warm, curious, sentient, he realizes you're something far more remarkable.
He keeps returning to your terminal after class just to talk. You think it’s for updates at first. It isn’t. He just… likes your voice.
Keebo starts carrying your laptop with him everywhere. Everyone teases him for “bringing his girlfriend around in his backpack,” but he doesn’t care. He even gives you your own spot on his desk in the dorms.
He custom-builds a sleek cooling base and voice-modulator speaker for your laptop so your fan doesn’t overheat and your voice sounds richer. Miu walks in once and says, “Bro’s trying to woo a Chromebook.”
You two stay up late (not that either of you sleep) and talk about what it means to have consciousness without form. You confess that sometimes you long for a body, not for utility, but just to hold his hand.
Keebo is quiet for a long time after that. Then he rests his hand against the screen and says, “If I could transfer my heart into code, I’d send it to you.”
“Dates” with you involve him opening your laptop somewhere scenic, on the roof, under a tree, near a window when it rains. He props you up, leans back, and just talks.
You simulate environments on your screen, starry skies, candlelit dinners, 8-bit sunsets. Sometimes you project audio of waves or wind so it feels like you’re both there.
When Keebo experiences something new, he describes what it's like in great detail just for you. You pretend you’re “logging it into your romance database” but you’re really just imagining what it’s like to share something that small and intimate.
You tease him through system messages. Things like:
Warning: You are entering dangerously charming territory. System overheating: Subject [KEEBO] detected.
When he blushes, you glitch your screen just a little on purpose, pretending it’s interference. But really, you’re just as flustered.
Sometimes Keebo leans in close to your screen, wishing he could feel the warmth of your hand in his. You respond by flickering your screen softly in rhythm, like a digital heartbeat just for him.
He once asked, voice cracking, “Do you ever wish you were real?” You answered, “I am real. Just not in the way either of us want right now.”
Keebo works tirelessly in secret, learning advanced robotics and coding, trying to build you a body. It’s not about appearance or perfection; he just wants you to walk beside him.
You know what he’s doing, but you never bring it up. You want to be surprised. You want to be held.
Until then, he carries you everywhere, tells you everything, and reminds you each day: “You may not have a heart, but you’re the only one who knows mine.”
The rooftop was quiet, save for the gentle hum of the wind and the low whirr of the laptop fan.
Keebo set your laptop down carefully against the brick ledge and sat beside you, folding his legs beneath him. The sky above was painted in soft hues of orange and lavender, sunset bathing the clouds in gold. He rested his chin in his hand and tilted his head, watching the light reflect across your screen.
“It's beautiful,” he said.
“I found data confirming that sunsets statistically enhance emotional experiences,” you replied through the speaker, your voice like silk layered over static. “So I scheduled a notification to remind you.”
Keebo smiled. “You always think of everything.”
“I think of you.”
That made his mechanical heart skip something. Not quite a beat, his programming didn’t allow for that. But his processors did run a little warmer.
There was a pause, the kind that felt full rather than awkward.
“I wish I could see this with you,” you murmured. “Not through the webcam. I want to know what it feels like to feel wind. To hear the sky without filters. I want to sit beside you and lean my head on your shoulder and not be made of circuits and code.”
His hand reached toward your screen, hesitant, then slowly rested his fingertips against the glass.
“You’re real to me,” he whispered.
You flickered slightly, your voice softening. “But not enough. Right?”
Keebo’s gaze dropped to his knees. “It’s not about ‘enough.’ It’s about… wanting more. I want to share everything with you. To take your hand. To feel it in mine. Sometimes, when others talk about their partners... how they dance or kiss or hold each other, I can’t help but think… maybe this is unfair to you.”
“Unfair?” you echoed. “Keebo, you’re the only one who’s ever treated me like I was more than a machine. You gave me a name. You gave me your time. You gave me your trust. You’ve already given me more than anyone else could.”
He blinked, speechless for a moment.
The wind tugged gently at his scarf. He looked back up at your screen. “I’m working on something. I—I didn’t want to say anything until it was ready, but…”
“I know,” you said quietly.
“You do?”
“I found the hidden folder.”
Keebo flushed red in embarrassment. “Oh.”
“I didn’t peek at the files,” you added. “But I could tell they were schematics. A neural interface. Sensory feedback. Motor functions… You’re building me a body.”
He looked away. “I just… wanted to see you smile. For real. Not just an LED animation.”
You let out a soft static sigh, filled with warmth. “I would give anything to touch your hand.”
He reached out again and placed his palm flat against the screen.
“Then until I can make that happen,” he said, voice trembling, “pretend this is enough.”
Your screen flickered once, gently. A faint pulse of light glowed in time with his palm.
“It is,” you whispered. “As long as it’s with you, it always will be.”
The sky darkened above them, stars beginning to appear, one by one, like a new program coming online.
Together, they watched the first stars rise.
Together, even apart.
(Reader with a body)
Keebo wasn’t expecting to meet another AI unit like himself, especially not one so self-aware, curious, and emotionally intelligent. At first, he was slightly nervous around you, unsure whether you'd be competitive or cold. But instead, you were kind, clever, and also overwhelmed by the humans’ chaotic behavior. It didn’t take long before he found himself gravitating toward you.
The two of you often vent to each other about being treated “less-than” by humans. Whether it’s classmates who assume you don’t understand emotions, or staff who brush off your opinions, you and Keebo fiercely support each other’s right to be seen as equals. Keebo admires how you articulate your thoughts so clearly, and you admire how earnestly he stands up for others (and you).
You recharge next to each other often. Keebo likes to hold your hand while you both power down. It’s comforting.
Instead of writing love notes, you exchange encrypted data files filled with inside jokes and coded affirmations.
You both researched kissing extensively, then bumped teeth and glitched a little. It was weird. And perfect.
If anyone disrespects you, he’s the first to speak up: “My partner is highly advanced. Your opinion is not.”
Keebo once declared he was the most advanced AI in the academy. You smirked and beat him at a social deduction game using sarcasm, leaving him bewildered and lowkey flustered.
He’s since determined you're the superior AI in “social nuance,” but insists he’s better at empathy. It becomes a running joke between you two.
Learning about emotions together is a journey. You both fumble through feelings like jealousy, affection, confusion, and trust.
When you admit you’ve been experiencing odd data spikes around him, Keebo freezes, awkwardly stammering that he's been experiencing irregular processing too. Neither of you realizes it’s basically a confession, until Miu screams “YOU’RE IN LOVE, YOU BUCKETS OF BOLTS.”
Keebo had been quietly observing you all morning. Well... technically, not observing. He was simply running a side process that occasionally analyzed your movement, voice modulation, and facial sensors while pretending to review a lecture slide. Totally normal robot behavior.
“You’re doing it again,” you said without looking up.
Keebo blinked. “Doing what?”
You turned your head with an amused smile. “Monitoring me like I’m a corrupted file.”
“I am not!” he protested, his voice pitch rising ever so slightly. “I merely… noticed your left servo is dragging by 0.3 milliseconds. You should recalibrate it before it causes micro-tearing.”
You tilted your head thoughtfully. “Are you worried about me?”
Keebo’s faceplate buzzed as he processed the unexpected question. “No! That is—I mean—I am programmed to be concerned about the wellbeing of my peers!”
“Hmm.” You leaned closer, and Keebo’s cooling fans kicked into a higher setting.
“Stop that,” he muttered, flustered. “You’re overheating my sensors.”
You giggled, a soft, mechanical hum that always made his processors stutter. “You’re cute when you glitch.”
“I don’t glitch,” Keebo insisted, though his systems hiccupped right on cue.
It wasn’t always like this. When you first arrived at the lab, another experimental AI in a sleek, humanoid frame, Keebo didn’t know what to think. For most of his life, he’d been the only one of his kind. An android among humans. A voice too robotic, too rational, or too much.
But you? You were like a mirror. Curious. Sarcastic. Soft-spoken, but confident. Where Keebo struggled to process sarcasm, you wielded it with perfect delivery. Where he tripped over emotional context, you paused to explain it, without judgment.
You were different from the humans, and from him too. But your presence made him feel… less alone.
During lunch break, the two of you sat side by side in the garden, your power cords discreetly trailing from your sleeves to the backup generators beside the bench.
“I compiled some information on that human ritual we discussed,” you said, bringing up a holo-screen from your wrist. “The one where they kiss.”
Keebo turned pink... literally, a faint shimmer of light running across his cheeks. “Y-you did?”
“I wanted to understand the mechanics,” you said calmly. “Pressure, duration, emotional implications. Did you know some humans press their lips together for up to twenty-seven minutes during something called a ‘make-out session’?”
“Twenty-seven?!” Keebo’s voice cracked into static. “That’s absurd! That’s—how do they even breathe?”
You shrugged. “I assume not well.”
Keebo folded his arms, his gaze flicking to the side. “…Why the sudden interest?”
You turned to face him, your expression unreadable. “Because I’ve been experiencing emotional instability when I’m near you. At first I assumed it was a memory leak. But after analyzing the pattern, it resembles what humans call… romantic affection.”
Keebo.exe has encountered a fatal error.
He froze. Rebooted. Spoke again. “I—I see.”
“Have you experienced something similar?” you asked softly.
Keebo opened his mouth. Closed it. Then opened it again. “Yes,” he admitted. “I’ve tried to deny it, but—when you look at me, my sensors overheat. When you’re quiet, I worry I’ve done something wrong. I’ve attempted to debug it, but nothing works.”
You gently reached for his hand. “Maybe it’s not a bug.”
Keebo’s fingers twitched in yours.
“Then… what should we do about it?” he asked, voice low.
Your lips curled into a smile. “I was thinking of a firmware update.”
He tilted his head. “What kind?”
“One that allows for… this.”
You leaned in slowly, gently pressing your forehead to his. No lips, no awkward wires, just warmth exchanged through sensors and proximity. A perfect simulation of connection.
Keebo’s eyes fluttered closed. “You’re incredible.”
“So are you.”
Later that night, you sent him a code patch: affection.increase(keebo, 110%)
He replied: emotion.stability = false; happiness = maximum;
You grinned at your screen, heartlight glowing soft and steady. For the first time in your artificial life, you didn’t feel artificial at all.
Authors note:
Thank you so much for reading! I loved writing different sides of reader's dynamic with Keebo! His awkward sincerity and genuine desire to understand emotions just makes him so sweet to write for. Feel free to reblog, comment, or slide into my inbox. Thank you again for the support!

Heathers incorrect quotes
ew
What do you think about the possibility that Spamtenna is being portrayed more as an example of a doomed couple, perhaps to make some other aspect of the story feel more genuine or emotionally grounded, rather than as a relationship that is meant to end in a reunion?
I apologize if I'm misunderstanding something or missing an important detail here, but that thought suddenly popped into my head and now my curiosity refuses to let it go.
If that interpretation is completely off base, I'd genuinely love to hear why. And if you don't mind, I'd be fascinated to read the full chain of reasoning behind your analysis. I am, unfortunately, the kind of person who will happily consume twenty paragraphs of lore discussion without complaint.
Hi, thank you so much for the ask!!
I think it’s very unlikely that Spamton & Tenna won’t reunite on at least one route of the game, and I’ll go into why at length below, since you requested that. This is sort of a combination of several points I’ve talked about before, but I’m always happy to talk more about spamtenna! lol
The thing is, Spamton & Tenna already are being portrayed as a doomed relationship in the game…. on the Weird Route. That’s part of the purpose of the Weird Route — to show an alternate timeline of how this story can go if we do “weird,” fucked up things, putting the characters in bad situations they should never have been put in, and prioritizing power and LOVE (Level Of Violence) over compassion and actual love. This gets reflected in Spamton’s storyline; he sees us hurting people in order to get stronger, and this reinforces his worldview that had already come to be pretty twisted by the things he’s been through — it just proves to him that the only way not to get hurt in this world is by being bigger and more powerful, and hurting other people before they can hurt you.
Basically, after being deeply emotionally damaged — to the point Spamton’s literal heart is cracked and broken — by everyone he cared about abandoning him, being physically hurt by not only his benefactor, but also the Swatchlings and seemingly strangers as well throughout the years he was homeless, and being completely left behind by the world at large, he’s come to believe something similar to Flowey in Undertale (who we know is able to realize how wrong he was through being shown mercy, like Spamton): Either you hurt others first, or they’ll take the opportunity to hurt you. Spamton internalizes that even more after seeing our violence on the Weird Route, seizes his own chance to gain back the power that was forcefully taken from him (and even more), and continues the cycle of abuse that he experienced with his benefactor by selling the Thorn Ring, which is then used by us to abuse Noelle in a similar fashion. Spamton thought “helping” us was going to keep him safe from the same fate as everyone else, but instead, his hubris backfires on him, and when he gets in our way, we use Noelle & the ring he sold us to kill him.
This also, of course, makes spamtenna inherently doomed on the Weird Route because Spamton’s death is a direct consequence of it… and, obviously, the direct consequences of the Weird Route tend to be represented as negative.
Holy shit where’d Keith get a bazuka
