Q1: What cooling principle does your counter-flow cooler adopt?
A: It adopts counter-current heat dissipation principle. Cold air rises from bottom, hot pellets drop down from top, material and air contact oppositely to realize full heat exchange by natural air. It’s pure natural air cooling without water cooling system.
Q2: Is this machine water-cooled or air-cooled?
A: It is 100% natural air cooling equipment, no water circulation device needed, saves water cost and avoids rust problems.
Q3: What materials can this counter-flow cooler cool?
A: It mainly suits all granular/pellet materials: livestock & poultry feed pellets, aquafeed pellets, wood biomass fuel pellets, organic fertilizer pellets, extruded granular products, plastic particles, etc.
Q4: What’s the cooling capacity range of your coolers?
A: We supply models from 0.5 ton/h to 20 ton/h, matching small, medium and full automatic pellet production lines. Customized large-capacity counter-flow coolers are available.
Q5: How much temperature can the machine reduce for hot pellets?
A: Fresh extruded pellets usually come out at 75~90℃. After counter-flow cooling, pellet temperature can drop to room temperature +3~5℃, moisture will also be reduced properly to prevent pellet mildew.
Q6: Will the pellets break a lot during cooling?
A: Counter-flow design makes slow and gentle pellet falling, greatly lower pellet breakage rate than horizontal coolers, finished pellets keep complete shape.
Q7: Does this cooler need extra cooling tower?
A: No. It only relies on natural air blower for heat dissipation, no cooling tower, no water pump, low power consumption and fewer auxiliary machines.
Q8: Is the discharging system automatic?
A: All our counter-flow coolers are equipped with automatic level control discharging structure. It can discharge pellets evenly according to material height inside the machine, no manual operation required.
Q9: Is installation difficult? Can you send engineers for overseas installation?
A: The machine comes with detailed English installation & operation manual. If needed, we support overseas engineer guidance service, customers only need to bear round-trip tickets, accommodation and local labor cost.
Q10: Can we customize the size and blower power?
A: Yes, we provide non-standard customization according to your production line output, workshop space and local ambient temperature.
Q11: What’s your production lead time?
A: Standard models: 7-15 working days; customized models: 15-25 working days after receiving your deposit.
