After seeing the baby, Mattias became jealous. He doesn’t know how to react. He just sat next to his computer looking gloomy. Noticing this, his moms talked to him.

You are still our special boy. Nothing will ever change that.

His jealousy remains but hearing those words from his moms gave him a different perspective. He realized that grew up well loved and taken care of. It doesn’t hurt to share that to somebody who needs it. So Mattias stood up, walked slowly towards the baby and looked at her.

Mackenzie and Cliff were in shock too about what just happened. They wanted to know how things went so horribly that day.

Ruby was inconsolable. She knew they both dodged a bullet that day, but that thought does nothing to calm her emotions.

She was angry, hurt, and heartbroken. She was angry that Lorenzo brought that engagement ring even though they both decided they were not ready. She was hurt that she had to choose to break both their hearts. But most of all, she was mourning all that she and Lorenzo could have been.
