Everyone wants to build products that has every features user needs (quantity), the best user experience and performance (quality), speed to market (time), and you have more than enough people (resource) to build an awesome product.
I believe number of features can be sacrificed, speed to market can be adjusted, resources are always limited, but the one thing that needs to be constant and consistent is great product experience.
In the mobile world today, you only have one or two chances at the most for users to even remotely care about your products. Let’s be honest with ourselves, users don’t have the time and money to waste on your product if it doesn’t provide the necessary value and experience worth investing in it.
Quality shouldn’t be a “if we get to it” kind of thing, quality is a mindset and culture that drives deeper to how much we, as an organization care about building products people love.
