Just thinking the following

Eurovision is supposed to NOT be political.

Eurovision is supposed to be only a music festival and a celebration of union between nations.

But it turns out to be this year a war between Russia and Ukraine is happening atm.

And then it turns out to be that bookies say Ukraine is gonna win. Ok

This can be interpreted by some people (if not most people) as a message of Europe to Putin and his attitude towards Ukraine. A message clearly POLITICAL because it has no other name.

EBU erases Russia from Eurovision this year for a reason merely POLITICAL. What the hell does Russian singers have to do with war that is going atm?? Isn't Eurovision aimed at sending a message of union and celebration of music? Politics has NOTHING to do with it.

But it does... because no one is going to tell me Ukraine is sending the best song this year. They would be in any case kind of a "sentimental" favorite, so to speak.

I'm not against Ukraine and even less against Kalush. I'm against a eventual "decision" of juries and audience to give most points to Kalush this year. Because there are clearly better songs, what sense does it make then for other countries to take part in the festival this year if everything points out to an eventual triumph of Kalush?? And only for what is happening? Because I bet if war would haven't been happening, they would never EVER be bookies' fave to win.

I pray for Ukrainians everyday. What the motherf***er Putin is doing is unforgivable. But one thing has nothing to do with the other.
