God is good and fandoms are kinda cool 😎

Hey, yall! My name is Jessi, and I suppose this is my intro Tumblr post! You know, despite the fact I've made several posts before. So...

To start, I am, first and foremost, an Apostolic Pentacostal Christian ✝️! Let's see...I'm 24 years old, I'm self diagnosed autistic (hints of AuDHD if you squint), I work full time as an admin specialist, and I've been in a happy long distance relationship for almost four years at this point!

I've lurked on Tumblr viewing sites for a long time before I finally gave in and made this account, but I'm not new to the Fandom scene itself! I do have a few other socials such as DeviantArt, Reddit and AO3, on all of which I use the same user name.

My fandoms include:

Total Drama (this seems to be the biggest one at the moment. I've even been hosting ship weeks for my OTP for three years now!

Big Hero 6 and it's series (this is my first and oldest Fandom to date that I'm still in! Been here since the movie came out!)

Megamind (yes, even the new content. Argue with a wall in the name of Jesus)

Skillet (this is technically a music fandom, but this is the only band I actively count down the dates for new singles for)

A couple others I did my toes into but not officially in them are TADC (because of course), K Pop Demon Hunters, and Demon Slayer.

There is one personal project relating to the Total Drama fandom I'm currently working on and you can find it right here! It's five chapters in so far and it's taking way longer than I thought so please give it some love!

AuDHD King. I know this one is borderline canon, but there really is no neurotypical explanation for anything he does ever

His Christmas gift to Go Go was a shoebox full of any and every embarrassing photo of Richardson he could find so she could use them for blackmail whenever he tries to hit on her

Absolute meme lord. Has a reaction meme/gif for any occasion!

In terms of music, he likes music that he can physically feel. EDM and video game soundtracks do that for him, though he's discovered Sabaton recently and really likes it!

He is not allowed to have energy drinks EVER

After seeing "The Greatest Showman" for the first time, he tried to sing "Never Enough" in the shower and actually managed to lose his voice

He couldn't speak louder than a hoarse whisper for a week straight, his mother actually took him to the hospital where they tested him for pretty much everything until he finally admitted the truth

His parents' names are Stanley and Rita

It is very rare for him to consume non superhero/monster media, so when he does, people know he's found something good

April Fools Day GREMLIN. He likes to play more brutal twists on the classics. Plain whoopee cushion? Too bland. Let's fill it with pudding! Coins glued to the sidewalk? Snore. Whole dollar bills are a challenge! Bucket on the door ready to soak an unsuspecting victim with its contents? Forget water, let's douse em with MAPLE SYRUP!!

Whenever he has to get work done on his teeth (which is a lot), they have to put him under a LOT of laughing gas. It works too. He essentially becomes a sleepy, happy toddler on anesthesia, which delights his mother to no end

Tried watching "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" once and only made it halfway through because he didn't expect it to be so...risqué. Jokes like that genuinely make him uncomfortable

Fred is actually allergic to a lot of commercial lotions, shampoos and colognes. So far, the only brands he doesn't have bad reactions to are Dr. Squatch and Axe for some reason. It is nigh impossible to pinpoint the thing that gives him a reaction though

In a deleted scene from the movie, Fred outright states that he was a premie. I think the direct quote was, "I was born ready! And premature!"

He's very prone to falling for scams that even somebody like Krei would see through in an instant. He's canonically fallen for one of those 'foreign prince needs money' emails, but he did try to order one of those AI robot puppies despite everybody telling him it was a scam.

He's deceptively good at picking somebody apart psychologically speaking. His mom was a therapist for a while before she quit to have Fred, so there were a lot of psychology books lying around the house when he was younger. One time, he asked Krei TO HIS FACE if he 'used narcissism to thinly veil his constant need for reassurance' and the guy couldn't look him in the eye for a month

His first name is Winston (he just looks like a Winston to me)

His anxiety towards germs started in first grade when somebody in his class puked during recess and half the class caught whatever the kid had

Heights, however, he was just kinda...born being scared of? Does that make sense?

Honey "tell us about your flapjack" Lemon and Wasabi "started making it, had a breakdown, bon appetit" No Ginger

He has a pet snake named Thaddeus and that thing is his BABY. Homemade hats, scarves, birthday and Christmas Instagram posts, framed baby photos in his apartment?? You name it. He's got it.

As to be expected, he doesn't particularly enjoy messy foods that he has to eat with his hands. Sandwiches are the only exception, and even then it has to be a very specific kind of sandwich

Wasabi, unsurprisingly, is the MOST spice tolerant member of the Nerd Gang. He has entered and won many a hot pepper eating contest in his day

Properly punctuates, capitalizes, and spells every text he sends unless it's an emergency

He canonically knitted his first sweater when he was six, so I like to think he still knits. Honey is currently teaching him the wild world of crocheting!

He's loving it so far! They have little crochet parties where they listen to 4 2 Sing together, make fondue, the works 😊

He has a weird habit of skipping whenever he's content. One time he did this in whatever this universes equivalent of a Kroger would be and his physics professor caught him doing it. Wasabi didn't look that professor in the eye for three months

He is prone to panic attacks :( It's not even the hyperventilating type either. He just freezes up (I think this is canon according to Fear Not)

Some of them turned into the hyperventilating type after Tadashi died...:(((((

HATES April Fools Day. He hates being pranked, he hates trying to prank people, he hates dreading somebody he doesn't know trying to prank him. The one time he tried to prank somebody, his nerves got way too worked up and when he got caught in the act, he started crying (it was Tadashi. Many hugs were given. He never did it again)

Has been doing his hair in dreads since middle school. He just thinks they're cool :)

Freakishly good at rhythm games. No one knows how, he's just super good

When KPop Demon Hunters came out, Wasabi definitely watched it three times back to back before forcing the Nerd Gang into a watch party ("Hey, we watch Fred's monster movies all the time! It's my turn to pick!")

Her first name is Dulcinea

Has a bunch of plushies from when she was a kid that she adamantly refused to get rid of. If something ripped or got messed up and her mom wanted to fix it/donate it/throw it out, she had to wait until Honey was either asleep or at school

She loves the idea of being a mom someday, but is also open to remaining childless as well. Either way, she'll take what life throws her way

She and Baymax both have emergency packs for her and the rest of the team. It's stuff like bandages, gauze, ice packs, smelling salts and other things like snacks, water and (of course) stickers for moral support! She also packs fidget toys for Hiro and Fred and corduroy patches for Wasabi

Poor Honey has definitely been deceived by "Dont Hug Me, I'm Scared" and "Welcome Home" when those series both came out.

In the case of DHMIS, she clicked on an episode once and didn't make it halfway through

With "Welcome Home", she came across fanart on Pinterest, looked up the website and actually believed it was a near extinct children's show from the 60's...until she clicked on the house

She did not get much sleep either night

Needless to say, she doesn't handle psychological horror very well

Oh, but she can handle gore just FINE

She LOVES cute animal videos of course, and her life was officially made complete the day she discovered The Kiffness

She's not really one to prank people on April 1st since it's "too mean", but every once in a while, she'll pull a lighthearted prank on some of he friends since they started it

One year when she felt particularly daring, she snuck artichoke juice onto Go Go's toothbrush so water would taste sweet whenever she tried to drink it

Like I said in the Go Go post, Honey is an Alani Nu girly through and through

LOVES craft festivals and WILL drag whoever whoever she can to go with her

She can also crochet, a skill she picked up from her grandma. She likes making little things for her friends like blankets and plushies. Has successfully resisted turning her skill into a side hustle so far!

She is a vegan, but isn't annoying about it. She actively refuses to associate with...those vegans

Why is her hair blonde in the movie and red in the series? Simple: she colored it!

Hiro isn't the only person in the Nerd Gang with food allergies. Go Go and pineapple aren't friends, to put it lightly

She is borderline obsessed with those chubby bird figurines you'd find in a garden store. For her birthday once, Fred did some digging and found a site to custom order one that looked like her

The mixture of elation and confusion when she opened it was absolutely PRICELESS. She still has the bird somewhere

There are actually a few things that can make her laugh without fail. Richardson epically failing a pick-up line, falling flat on his face and creating a perfect meaty SHLAPP on the floor as he fell happens to be one of those things

On April 1st, she says she doesn't care about pranks, but every year without fail, she gets into intense prank wars with Fred AND ONLY FRED. It's mostly retaliation to his pranks, but sometimes she'll actually instigate it if she feels like it

Her favorite flavor of bubble gum is watermelon

She prefers Monster and Red Bull in terms of energy drinks. She tried Alani once from Honey but found it too sweet.

Despite how she looks, she actually enjoys having 'girls nights' with Honey and some of the other girls in her major, which is admittedly a lot of people. It does drain her social battery though

Go Go once won a vehicle design contest and got four tickets to Cedar Point! She ended up taking Hiro, Honey and Fred because there was no way they'd be able to fit Baymax on any of the rides and Wasabi ducked out anyway

Her favorite rides there are the Millenium Force and the Gate Keeper

She may or may not have had a crush on Tadashi before he died so his death hit pretty hard

She wears fingerless gloves because she doesn't like wearing actual gloves unless she has to. She hates the feeling of things wrapping around her fingers

Despite watching Aunt Cass cook for basically his whole life, he can't cook if his life depended on it

His teeth are all jinky because he had a chewing/biting habit as a kid that didn't but not quite let up in the present. Cass is planning on having him fitted with braces

He's actually the least spice tolerant person in the Nerd Gang (the face melting wings aren't even that hot, Hiro's just a wuss 😆)

Sometimes talks to Megabot like it's a real person

Heavy sleeper, especially when he's sick

Hiro had to be the one to try and explain to Baymax what a Rick Roll was, and Baymaxs response to learning this new information was to send one to LITERALLY EVERYONE IN HIROS CONTACTS

Absolute MENACE on April Fools Day, especially when Tadashi was still around. His best prank to date was convincing Cass (and half the Lucky Cat patrons) that Mochi could talk! He did this with a robotic copy that he talked through

Hiro "Alright, Pinhead, yer time is up" Hamada and Fred "Who you calling Pinhead" Fredrickson IV

He never said this out loud in "Obake Yashiki", but his phobia is thunder and lightning storms. It's not as bad now as it was when he was little, but it definitely got a little worse when Tadashi died

His favorite Glitch Productions show is Murder Drones. He was absolutely bummed when it ended, but he still sometimes gets merch when the funds allow it

He can't wait for Gaslight District to start airing new episodes

Post dental surgery, his IQ drops to a hilarious degree. No joke, after he got his wisdom teeth taken out, he started actually WEEPING when he was informed that he had a cat at home ("Oooh my goooOOOOOOOssshhh I LOOOOOVE CATSH!!!")

When he and Tadashi were younger, Cass decided to rent "Watership Down" for them thinking it was just a cute storybook style movie about rabbits. You can imagine how well that went down (they slept in her bed with her for a solid two weeks)

Most definitely autistic, but also just has sensory processing issues in general, especially after so many superhero missions

Would die before admitting this, but on particularly bad days, he'll ask Baymax to just...pick him up and hold him there. It's relaxing, but embarrassing. Even Cass doesn't know he does this (she totally knows because she's caught him asleep in Baymaxs arms a few times, she just pretends not to know)

One lighter note, he has a soft spot for 2000s punk rock that you'd hear at the beginning of any Disney Channel movie around that time. He's not sure why

Quotes stupid media with his friends all the time. The one time Judy actually finished a movie quote with him was the day they became work besties

Fred would definitely get everybody into TADC, including Go Go but she won't admit it.

Honey likes to spread positivity everywhere! Also, Judy doesn't have a canon surname, but this is just my headcanon for it. Also that's the best handle I could come up with for Felony Carl, sadly
