Give Us Roses While We’re Still Here Transgender Day of Remembrance // Nov. 20th
This is just a poster I made the other day. I love all of my trans family, and I hope you take the day for remembrance & self care.
I like this phrase a lot.
If anyone’s curious, the quote “Give Us [Our] Roses While We’re Still Here” draws from an artwork by B. Parker, a trans person of color, created in a 2015 collaboration between the artist and BreakOUT!, an organization fighting the criminalization of LGBTQ youth in New Orleans.
