“Cody, report in - everyone getting to bed on time? Don’t want you all staying up too late on a school night.”

He did his best to ignore the chaos that was ensuing behind him, luckily it was unlikely any of the noise his younger brothers were causing would be picked up by the holo’s receiver, “Uh, yeah things have been great here, buir.”

“Good, good - Boba didn’t even complain about bedtime?  I’m impressed.”

“Yeah,” Rex had re-emerged from the fresher a few moments prior, quickly taking note of the developing scene of nighttime disorder and rushing over to provide some much needed backup, “Boba went right to sleep after we got him in his PJs.”

“Everyone’s homework is done for tomorrow,” Cody added, making more room so the recorder could better pick up at least part of Rex’s image.

His father was silent for a moment and the pair clenched their jaws, trying desperately to not give any reason for alarm as the yelling picked up again.  If they could just get off this call there might still be hope they could regain order in the house.

At the same time (and much like fate mocking them), Boba continued firing foam bolts from his toy blaster, running around the living room like a little boy with absolutely no worry of reprimand, “Got you, Rex!”

The bolt slapped against Rex’s exposed shoulder and he sighed trying not to pay attention to it, “Well, we’re getting ready for bed ourselves so…”

Cody jumped on that as he heard both Fives and Echo giggling a little too suspiciously to themselves, “Yep, we gotta go.”

“Alright, I’ll let you boys rest - I know the younger ones can be a lot to handle,” their father paused to consider something, “I’m going to forward some more credits over to you two; this job is unfortunately going to take a few more days so feel free to order some carry-out, and make sure the younger ones eat their vegetables.”

Cody nodded even faster as the man on the other end spoke, as if that would end the call any faster, “Yep, yep, sounds good.”

There was a sharp groan and the sound of someone getting kicked, Rex hoped his voice would drown it out, “K'oyacyi, buir.”

It looked like Jango had more to say but Cody’s hovering finger moved a little too quickly to end the call just as Boba let out a shriek - both Fives and Echo laying into him with their own toy blasters, “Love you, boys, and be sure to–”

The call ended and for a moment it surprised even Cody, who had been the one to click off, “Well, this is a mess.”

Rex whipped his head around, staring disappointedly at Fives and Echo who were clearly riling up their youngest brother who was now running around way past his bedtime, “What are you two doing?”

Joining him, Cody shook his head as well, “And you,” he pointed to Wolffe sprawled out on the couch who looked offended that he was being lumped into this mess with the others, “you weren’t going to offer any help at all?”

Rolling his eyes, he returned to his book, kicking Fives again who was still, stupidly, standing in range for it, “Nah, looks like you’ve got this all handled…”

The idea for this picture came to me after reading several AUs where the Fett family includes the clones and Jango spreads his “good dad” vibes to more of his children.  In this one the boys are pretty aged down with Cody and Rex being the oldest (around 16/17), Wolffe following close behind (around 15), Fives and Echo being on the younger end (around 13ish) and Boba being the baby of the family (around 9/10).  As someone who knows the reality of siblinghood, the chaos portrayed here comes a bit from personal experience (especially those god awful nerf guns).

Vod.

Brother, in mando’a. The language of the mandalorians.

Fives tests out this word in his mind, something he has never heard before. He saw an older clone saying it, jostling around his brother and laughing.

He later asked 99 what it meant, and he smiled his warm smile and explained the significance behind it.

“Vod, it means brother in mando’a. Did you know jango- our doner was a mandalorian?” he pauses, letting that sink into fives brain.

“he insisted we learned basic mandalorian culture. Of course the kaminoans shut that down as soon as he was killed, so you didn't learn that in class.” he says, words having a slight bitter edge to them.

Fives nods along, then rushing off to go find echo.

“Thanks 99!”

“Vod!” he yells, climbing into echos bunk with slight difficulty.

Echo puts his book down, its edges worn and torn from his many many times reading it.

“What??”

“Vod!” he repeats, a big grin on his face

“It means brother”

They trade back the word, exclusively calling eachother vod for the next few days. 99 watches as hevy and droidbaite adopt the word too, a small smile on his face.

ok so i feel like they should be larger than they are (just add a small amount of bulk to most of them, rex,cody, etc)

but the arc troopers should be  bit bigger, since dont they carry lots of guns and stuff or am i confusing myself, 

Jesse can rap

Rex can sing

Fives can dance

Echo is a triple threat ✨

Hardcase can paint (I mean look at his armor)

Echo can bake (Fives has a sweet tooth)

Fives can cook

Kix can act. Thats why he is one of the only members of the GAR who can lie

Rex can knit. This is a WIP that I have yet to touch since I wrote down the notes lmao

Dogma can sing but doesn’t do it around anyone

Gree can draw. Sketch, ink, shading, you can find it in his nerd notes

Fox has mastered latte art. Hear me out: he finds that saying he needs a caff break gives him some time to himself, so he figured to stretch that time a little by just a couple of minutes by frothing his milk. He started with a lil heart, moved on to little leaves, but now he can shape swans and cats and bears.

Wolffe cooks as well. His specialty is red meat dishes, but he can debone a fish like nobodies business

Doom is pretty sick at the bass guitar, he likes the rhythmic movements

Bacara is a gifted percussionist

Cody can sew like nobody's business. I mean, what else is he supposed to do when Obi-Wan drops his cloaks whenever and wherever. Those holes have to get patched up by someone. 

BUT Obi-Wan also taught Cody to waltz. Waxer once walked into the training room to find them practicing it together.

Speaking of Waxer, he can do origami. He likes to make little animals for the kids he encounters who lost their stuffed animals during the war.

Boil writes poetry. He would kill you if you said anything but he keeps a small notebook with him at all times that is just filled with some of the most beautiful poems

Hevy can also paint. He and Hardcase are twin souls- but whereas Hardcase does more linework and abstract, Hevy’s strength lies in landscapes. He likes doing the Big Picture, loves angles, he’s a total Bob Ross

Cutup can also act. He’s more into stage acting than camera acting (which is Kix’s specialty) so his acting is more dramatic, with flourish ✨

To give a bit more love to the Coruscant Guard, Thorn is an amazing wood worker. If you can imagine it, he can make it out of wood.

Thire is like Thorn but he works with clay. Thire loves to sculpt things and will make little figurines for all of his brothers. He likes to make ones for the shinies to give them a bit of individuality while in the Guard. Every single figurine he makes is different. The one he is the most proud of are the ones where he captures some of the shenanigans that the guard has gotten up to. Fox scolds him for “encouraging the men to be dumb” but he secretly loves them because its times his men actually get to have some fun.

Stone can do ventriloquism and no one knows where he learned how to do it. He can throw his voice anywhere and can make all kind of voices which makes for some interesting meetings in the senate when he has duty during sessions.

Hunter paints on his skin. It’s a soothing feeling, the cool smooth strokes of the brush on him- he uses himself like a buddha board

Tech does synth music. Makes his own synthesizer boxes!

Crosshair does needlepoint! In secret-

The man has an immaculate dental routine. He brushes his teeth twice in a regular twenty four hour day on the minute, complete with floss and mouthwash. He can floss without using a mirror at this point, and prefers sharp clean mint mouthwash, although if he’s feeling ✨spicy✨ he keeps a small thing of cinnamon mouthwash for special occasions.

But turning to the dark side changed his physical appearance. Most notably his eyes, which became yellow (a very typical Sith transformation in many species)

And while I know that Wookies are not supposed to be able to be force sensitive and therefore cannot become Jedi or Sith, all I am saying is that
