I haven't interacted with, well, anyone on here in a long time so I'm tagging @purplechernobyl and anyone else who wants to do it!

⭐️Origins of your blog name: My first name and my old dog's name.

⭐️My “I’ll always order this” food:  Caesar salad and onion rings.

⭐️Overused emoji:  😊 And this past month has seen a lot of use out of 🖕🧊

⭐️Comfort movie, book and show:  More like comfort youtube channels. Alexandria Ryan, Hannah Alonzo, and HopeScope have been my go-tos. I did spend last night curled up under about fifteen blankets to watch Space Jam.

⭐️Song on repeat: The Tragically Hip - Grace, Too

⭐️Current hyperfixation: researching and writing what will hopefully be my first actual proper book!

⭐️Oddly specific thing that brings me joy: seeing kids get excited about things. Last month I was in Toronto and I took a walk by the CN Tower, and I watched so many kids shout at their parents, "Look how BIG it is!!!" and just looking up at it in awe.

⭐️What smell makes me happy: freshly mowed grass, bacon cooking, and lilacs (btw, where are the lilac-scented candles? They've all been replaced by lavender, it seems)

⭐️Something I loved as a kid and secretly still do:  I not-so-secretly watch the shows I loved as a kid. Sesame Street, Today's Special, Fred Penner's Place, Mr. Dressup, the Elephant Show.

Also me: Let's write historical fiction for a time period I know next to nothing about and what appears to be a black hole of non information because of the Very Important Events which take place before and after said time period.

If you need me, I'll have moved into the library because all the books I can find on the subject can only be used in the library.
