So I didn’t notice for a while, but my etsy page is USD, and now that the canadian dollar is hemorrhaging around $ .68CAD per $1USD, I felt the need to change my prices. 

From now on my prices are going to be in CAD, ALSO I changed my prices to my original prices, but in CAD (if not, the currency change would have made my standard patterns at $34CAD!!!! NOOOO)

My first non-friend commission of the year!

Alright, my phone did not want me to write anything, here goes!

I used a printable, iron on paper to apply the skirt designs on. I tried painting first, but it wouldn’t stick to the fabric, and it didnt look as sharp. 

Next I lightly boned the top to give her some support, and added some bra cups in there to smooth it out. (she wasn’t going to wear a bra so needed the support.) 

I lined the top to hide everything, and painted the tops design (the paint liked the plack fabric a bit better! grr)

OVerall, I am happy with this result. 

What would I change in the future? I would probbaly find a much easier way to print, cut and iron all the individual skirt decos!!!!!!!! I swear 80% of this costume was used on those things!!!
