i think australia low-key hates me right now, and honestly i can't even blame them because i've been ghosting them ever since i suggested a tour there when i was doing the eras tour and then justโฆ nothing. like radio silence. full ghosting era. which is very on brand for me in my personal life, but professionally it's not my best moment. i really should make good on it though, like maybe post a suggestive snap with a koala in the background so while i'm not mentioning said koala they'd just know you know?? it's all about the subtext. plus that's where you come in mr. heartbreak high because i am obsessed with that show, and i am obsessed with your accent, and i need you to be my australian ambassador immediately. like just vouch for me. go on national television and make your country love me again because i cannot have an entire continent holding a grudge against me right now. i'm too pretty for that kind of stress. / @jcshheustons
If you're thinking Australia hates you, it's pretty clear what you need to do, and that's make good on it. Because having Australia love you is what you want, it's the best thing to have happen if you ask me. I'm not just saying this as an Australian, who believe Australian people are the best. But hearing your obsessed with the show and the accent of mine, well, that makes me feel pretty like I should be a little cocky or something. But got it, I'll be your Australian ambassador, I've always wanted an important role like that for someone. Can't have my country hate you, that would be a travesty, because I agree, far too pretty for that kind of stress. We'll make it good.
