Very happy with how this piece turned out. It’s the first tangible work I’ve created in nearly two years. When I started up the Turn project, I had no idea what I wanted to make for the start. I knew soon enough that I wanted to make something about origins—an atom, or perhaps something rising from the ground. I devoted a few weekends to really get into the thing, and found myself again cutting up old postcards. After all this time, something about them still holds for me, and I’m eager to play again.

Two Shelves presents a new exhibition experience by multimedia artist Shaun Kardinal.

His first tangible show in 58 weeks, he is currently working primarily with Internet, where his recent projects juxtapose traditional exhibition formats with online presentation. Flying Formation, a digital collage series showcased on his Instagram account, garnered press and social media shout-outs from WIRED, Adobe, Tumblr and Feature Shoot.
