🥭 : what kinds of shifts do you experience the most (e.g. mental, physical, phantom)

Mental and Phantom, though there's definitely some physical here and there when it's intense enough. But it's mainly phantom limbs and the instincts.

🍦 : have you changed your diet to more closely match your types’ diet (e.g. more vegetables as a herbivore or more meat as a carnivore)?

Funnily enough I already always ate a ton of meat before I even knew about this stuff! I am very carnivorous in nature, loving a good steak or burger or pulled chicken or even some salmon. I love meat so much, and said love has only grown over time.

🧃 : what is your type’s natural habitat? do you live near a place of a similar habitat?

For the Utahraptor: Crustaceous Riverine Foreat. The answer? No. Alas </3. Nothing quite like it exists anymore, and while riverine forests are quite real they've not the same.

For the Painted Dog: Sparse Woodlands. The answer? This is probably the closest one I can get to, as there is a lot of dry land with a ton od sage brush and trees, but it's not the same sort of thing :(

"Childe. I hate to break it to you but...That was a pretty lame joke." In fact, she visibly cringed at the punchline. To think there was someone other than Cyno to be able to trigger this natural reaction from her.

"I think you should stick to fighting. There's clearly no career as comedian in store for you." She stated bluntly, making zero attempts to mince her words. To be honest, she fully expected him to ask for a spar when he first approached her, but he had other plans instead.

Lumine shook her head in response, pushing the plate towards him. "You're the one who made these Tatacos, so it's only fair you get the final piece."

Per usual, his cooking was sublime so she already devoured two whole ones so she technically had her share already.

With how stubborn both of them can be about this sort of thing, it would be not be surprising if this argument went on for quite some time to the point of the food getting cold.

Unless...

A flexible tongue suddenly swooped in to snatch the piece of Tatacos right off the plate, ending the discussion at once.

"Uhm...I think someone is probably sick of hearing this conversation at this point, huh?"

STAYING THE NIGHT PROMPTS

Getting hurt was simply part of the fight - as long as she ultimately comes out victorious, the Traveler does not mind sustaining an injury or two in the process. Scratches and bruises heal, but a broken pride from suffering a humiliating defeat aches forever.

However, the Adeptus was not having it.

This was so not fair.

How dare he use those those puppy eyes to get what he wants. He knows that she simply cannot say no when he gives her that look.

"...Fine."

Averting her gaze, a soft sigh slipped past the blonde's lips. "Just for tonight then. I'm kind of tired and don't feel like setting up camp."

A bed at the Inn would surely be more comfortable than sleeping out in a tent on the grass.

SOFT(ish) ANGST PROMPTS

Pulled along by the gentle tug of his daughter's hand, the duo eventually made it to the bed where a certain blonde Traveler was resting.

On first glance, it may seem as if she was just enjoying a peaceful slumber, but truth is, she had been unconscious like this for nearly two weeks now.

Even though her injuries had almost fully healed and physically, there was nothing preventing her from waking up, she remained unmoving and unresponsive like this.

"..."

"Mama..." Xinyue voice cracked ever so slightly as she crawled on top of the matress "Look, I managed to bring Papa back...Auntie Pai helped me find the way..." She spoke, shaking her mother's shoulder as she had done multiple times before, but per usual, she received no reaction.

"So please wake up...I promise I'll be good from now on. I won't run off like that anymore...and I won't snack on sweets before dinner to ruin my appetite..."
