Final Fantasy XIV is my HOME 💙 I started PLAYING in 2015 and fell in LOVE ... fell in love FOREVER... with ALL my heart and soul. I felt like I was literally in a fairy tale, in a good old fantasy world. Heavensward is one of my absolute favorite expansions. Dragons, snow-covered fortresses, elves... it’s just so powerful! The cutscenes and cinematic trailers are incredible and breathtaking! The soundtracks are mind-blowing! Total immersion! Yes... this is love forever! I absolutely adore Ishgard in the evening when it’s snowing! I can wander forever through the lantern-lit streets of this mesmerizing city! There is one special place there called the Last Vigil. When you stand at the edge of the observation deck... by the stone railing... and it’s snowing... it feels as if the sky itself is falling down on you... and someone often plays that unforgettable track there, «Night in the Brume» which makes your heart skip a beat... 🌌By the way, share in the comments what your favorite addon and favorite location in the game is? :) 💙 FFXIV and writing fanfiction give me strength and help me feel alive, as I have some important aspects of my health in real life! I even dedicated the second chapter of my FFXIV fanfiction to this special place. Here are some lines from it: «Nighttime Ishgard resembled a frozen symphony of stone and ice. The cathedral’s towering spires pierced the ink-black sky, while heavy flakes drifted down upon the city like stray white feathers. A moment later, the snowfall surged. Millions of large, downy motes danced in the glow of magitek lamps, slowly blanketing the parapets of the Last Vigil in white velvet. In this stillness, the world felt infinite, and I-nothing more than a tiny, flickering spark within it...» I also wanted to quote these lines from Robin Hobb’s «The Farseer Trilogy»: «Remember with your heart. Go back, go back, and back. There must be dragons in the skies. When the dragons are gone, men miss them. Oh, some never think of them at all. But some children look up into the blue summer sky from the time they are small, and wait for what never comes.»
