To the white people throwing a hissy fit over the casting of Ariel in the live action- I have one question:

will never get over the fact that the mean jock fell for not the girl he was bullying but her male dorky best friend instead effectively destroying the harmful “hes mean because he likes you” trope and providing us with the most unexpected plot twist and satisfying character growth in disney channel history !

This is so weird. It’s such a weird feeling, that I’ve felt a handful of times before. Where it’s a celebrity you’re very aware of, have watched on television, etc. You knew who they were, grew up with them and such. And then they’re just…gone. You don’t want to believe it.
