What if you are not a βgirlyβ at all? What if you are a woman seeking a conservative look to fit your aesthetic? Then you will want to review the rules and etiquette of what it is to be modest. Knowing what the expectation is to be a modest woman. Dressing the look and having the personality to match it.Β
Modesty is defined as a βbehavior, manner, or appearance intended to avoid impropriety or indecency.βΒ
Etiquette is βthe customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group.β
So the first is being sure you are not loud in places that require quiet. Also not performing private or personal actions in public spaces. Like clipping your nails, scratching your butt and picking your nose. Youβd be surprised how many people forget this, yes I know gross.Β
The second is just being mindful of those around you. Donβt look to offend someone and realize that its ok to say you are sorry. saying βsorryβ or βexcuse meβ doesnβt make you less than anyone else. Having manners is important.Β
