We genuinely see so little of Shisui its so fucked up. The little we get is that his father was sick, he lived with his father and mother, and he was the family breadwinner. He got his Mangekyou in the war. We get almost no backstory besides that. And it's so intriguing that Shisui is so closed off, it seems? Shiita Week will be held from October 19-25 this year!

This year, we have two sets of prompts for a bit of Halloween fun!! Our Treat list has more lighthearted, feel-good prompts, while the Trick list is a bit darker! Feel free to create works for whichever prompts you'd like. You're welcome to do prompts from both lists for any day.

~ A note on Trick Day Seven: Any Swap refers to body swap, age swap, or any other swap you'd like to create for!

Rules

No works involving the use of AI will be accepted.

No hate speech, discrimination, etc.

No OT3. Side pairings are allowed, but Shiita must be the main focus.

NSFW allowed, but must be tagged accordingly.

i think a lot about how Sasuke felt very distant from his parents and the clan bc he always felt like they cared more about Itachi. But Sasuke's, whole revenge quest against Itachi wasn't "he hurt me" it was always "you killed them all." Which to be fair aren't Exclusive, but its really interesting to me that Sasuke frames Itachi's actions as foremost against others.

Is Sasuke specifically upset that Itachi killed the people who always gave him the most attention? Thinking that when Itachi should have been grateful, he didn't care? Sasuke always craved validation and attention. Did he feel bitter that Itachi was throwing away what he could never have?

Or, reframing it a bit, maybe in Sasuke's mind it wasn't exactly like that. It wasn't about Itachi disposing of something valuable like it was nothing, it was about Itachi disposing of Sasuke's chance at redemption. Even though he would never have been the prodigy that Itachi was, Sasuke still wanted to "catch up," make himself known as strong in his own right. But even if he did, the only person that could recognize him would be Itachi himself, and only when Itachi died at Sasuke's hands.
