This piece was created entirely while holding 5 colored pencils at once in my drawing hand. Definitely a fun challenge!

expand (v): (of the universe) to undergo a continuous change whereby, according to theory based on observed redshifts, all the galaxies recede from one another

Named after the Shakespearean play that does not fit neatly into either the comedy or tragedy genres, this piece uses symbols from theatre and the sea to question why humanity finds such pleasure in tragic stories.

I couldn't begin to explain to you or even to myself why I had the sudden urge to draw Throg but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Working on coloring him as we speak ;)
