Intro Post!!!

Hi!!!! We're the Talepi Corporation! (He/him and She/her pronouns) We're bodily an (older teen) minor, and we're still trying to figure out if we're a system or not!

We love interactions, although we have minor social anxiety, so it might be a while before we respond. We love Unstable Universe, Physics, and Russian History. We have a decent amount of fictives but like not a lot.

We have confirmed GAD, Depression, and (Inattentive) ADHD, and if it was an actually medically recognized disorder, we would probably be diagnosed with Maladaptive Daydreaming. Our plurality is probably disordered, but who knows?

Fellow MaDD based systems, is your headspace influenced by daydreaming? Do you ever just, daydream into the headspace living the body on some kind of autopilot?

For us our daydreams are somewhat a part of our headspace if that makes sense? We can't access the "main area" using daydreaming but a lot of our fictives are hiding in daydream-esque spaces becuase they formed by repetitive daydreaming combined with stress. We can also call certian headmates to talk to us using the same like...tools? as daydreaming.

Fun Fact: A countryhumans, ideologyballs, or Centricide hyperfixation (I HATE IT IN MY BRAIN) at any point in your life can unlock the ability to get fictives of like. Countries. Or places. Or ideologies. Which is hard to explain to anyone, ever.

A thing I'm starting to realize we do is that after a period of intense emotional or mental effort, the headmates responsible cycle out for a bit.

Like, (probably) autistic burnout over university stress directly lead to our syscovery, because all the academic headmates were just laying dead in a pile of goop, leaving Tams enough time to maker her, like... Third attempt at convincing the rest of the guys that they're a system.

A couple of days ago, someone got really angry (and good for them, I recall them thinking it felt freeing to finally do that), then they kinda... got tired. And I think ever since then it's been a blur or me, alternating.

I wonder if there is such a thing as emotional burnout? Like sorry I'm a shell of a man where the heck is everyone else

If you're a singlet (someone who is not plural), I can guarantee you that you know at least one system offline. Probably, you know multiple systems.

Any of your friends or family members could be part of a system. Any of your classmates or coworkers could, too. Even your partner could be a system.

Plural systems usually do not announce our plurality. Because of the massive stigma around plurality, we try to pass as singlets. My system does this every day. My headmates have friends they've known for a decade who don't know we're plural.

It's said that dissociative disorders are very rare, but they're not. Trauma can and does happen to anyone. And many systems don't have dissociative disorders at all.

Systems are all around you. It's time to start treating us with the same respect you'd give anyone else.

Eat too much fat and not enough nutrients/protien one day because you are stranded in a tiny town on the coast during a summer camp and they don't have vegetarian options so you get super nauseous by evening and retire to your SHARED DORM 😠 but its still not a good time so you watch a DOUG DOUG video because he is a comfort creator but your little realizes that VIDEO TIME!!!! so she comes out (girl no) and doesn't realize she is falling asleep. The nearest capable teenage alter is too far away from the front to be able to really influence anything, so you fall asleep.

Wake up. It's 2:00 AM, and you don't remember if you put your phone to charge (you didn't) or brush your teeth (you didn't). You are wearing cargo shorts and you have your keys in your pocket still. Whatever. Go back to bed.
