The leisure

The material is white oak that originally served as a dining table, which I later repurposed into a bed. This stand is built from the leftover materials from that bed. Another identical one is still in production.

A wooden stand for expensive bikes that has to be stored at home, out of reach from the thieves. White oak

The material (teak) is from an old trophy case.

The aim is to re-use the wooden material (pine) and build a sofa frame out of this 25 year old summer house dining table.

The table was made as a prototype for proofing the three legged dining table concept. Turned out pretty ok, thus the material is rubbish. Needs to be re-made in proper wood.

Straight cut! The track saw is more accurate than a table saw.

After a 7 month break in woodworking I’m back on track with my new project - 2 x dining table on trestles made out of larch.

The all year dining table & bench project is finally completed - hooray!

The bench I'm working on got some tiny butterfly joints to keep the cracks under control. Don't know what is the common way of shaping the butterflies, but found it convenient to just tilt the table saw blade and make a cut halfway through - four cuts and I had a symmetric 10 inch long butterfly shaped piece of oak to work with. Then just slice as many pieces from it as needed.
