For 31 days, I exchanged meats, alcohol and sexual acts to receive His guidance with no distraction. In short, I learned I had a lot of distractions lolâbut in more detail (swipe): 1. Learning to master control of self is important and essential to receiving the blessings you work to obtain. It also opens the window of self-discovery. With that, I appreciate all of my friends who respected the process; thatâs love. 2. Even people with good intentions hurt your feelings, but swerve on them too. A gift of mine is to see the best in beingsâbut when not careful, it leads to my lil feelings getting hurt. I need to do better at protecting my peace, and stop extending myself to heal beings that I have not been called to heal. 3. I be fxxkin up some commas, no Future. I canât afford myself. I make poor financial decisions. I am not the rich auntie. Broke is my birth control. My husband donât date broke women. I ainât got it but I never had it. Whew! That was hard to receive lol. But basically, I am blocking my way to receive blessings and align accordingly with my personal goals/desires. I have abused my faith that God will take care of everything. I have to matureâfinancially; I know better, and for my legacy, I must do better. 4. Some dear to me are aware of the toxic relationship I was in during 2017. However, not all are aware of the bruises I hid, the stories behind the scars I still wear, or the shame I carried about my willingness to be involved in something so beneath the woman I worked so hard to become. And with all of that, this was the hardest breakup to process. I searched for answers, I revisited moments, I tried to understand what I missed, what I did wrongâall in the effort to forgive him. Yet, I found that in order to gain peace with this experience, I had to forgive myself. 5. I gave myself the task of building this full blown website to launch at the top of the year, and convinced myself it was necessary because I needed to share my thoughts with the public. When in reality, I just needed inspiration to write lol. In the process, the âArt of Procrastinationâ & âIn 6 Wordsâ bloomed.
