can you use chopsticks?
“i can’t. i guess the skill i have out on the field that prevents me from dropping the ball doesn’t exactly translate to when i’m trying to eat sushi. i end up crossing them and destroying the roll before it can even get to my mouth.”
what is something most people do that you think is dumb?
“i hate liars. i kinda pride myself in my ability to be honest no matter the circumstances. it’s annoying when that can’t be reciprocated.”
where would you fall on a politeness/rudeness scale?
“i don’t like being rude. so i’d say i’m more on the polite side.”

“the warrior.”
what do you do when you can’t sleep?
“i’m not gonna lie, i end up watching those weird paint mixing videos on instagram. they’re so soothing.”
what five apps do you use most on your phone?
“instagram, snapchat, blackboard, the messages app and, uhhh... my email, if that counts.”
what’s your coffee order?
“just a medium hot coffee light and sweet. i’m a simple guy with simple needs.”
what food will you never be able to turn down?
“pavlova. especially when it’s my mom's.”
what’s one bad habit you need to break off?
“endless instagram scrolling when there’s plenty of homework to be done.”

what’s the best thing in your life at the moment?
“i feel like i’m in a pretty good place at prince right now. my grades aren’t shit, football practices have been going well, things with indi are good. other than that weird thing with elliot, i’d say everything’s pretty great.”
what’s the worst thing in your life at the moment?
“i’m grateful to say nothing has really been the worst. i’m a bit homesick. i’d also really like it if the rivalry would allow my girlfriend and i to be like, a public thing.”
how do you comfort yourself when you’re in a slump?
“i call my dad. he can be a bit much at times but he’s got some wise words.”
what are three netflix shows that you’ve rated five stars?
“always sunny in philadelphia, parks and recreation, and master of none. all classics.”
what would you make a scene in public about?
“the thing is... i wouldn’t. not unless i was defending someone, i guess. s’just not my style.”
what would you give your life for?
“my family. mom, dad, even bowie. indigo, elliot, jason. they’re family, too.”
what are your major flaws?
“i overthink. a lot. i also have a tendency to kinda overreact to things.”
what do you only pretend to care about?
“i love my brothers and am eternally grateful for the opportunities that pike opened up for me but... i’m not too crazy about my presidency. it just adds another level of stress to my life that i really could do without.”
how does the image you try to project differ from the image you actually project?
“pike president jagger is a lot more... i wouldn’t say confident. douchey - maybe. i dunno. s’just the way i’m expected to act, i guess. i’m a lot more laid back than i seem. only indi, jason and elliot get to see that, really.”
what are you afraid of?
“not gonna lie, not a huge fan of the dark. but that’s about as far as trivial fears go. the future is always scary. like, i have an idea of what i want - the wife, the kids, the house, the dog. getting there and the uncertainty of it all... now that’s spooky.”
do you believe in the supernatural?
“eh, not really.”
when you were younger, what job did you think you’d end up doing? has that changed since?
“i can’t really remember, if i’m honest. i kinda just recall switching between jobs every other week. once i was dead set on being a firefighter. and then there was that spongebob episode where someone mentioned a football playing king in space so ultimately... that’s what i wanted to be up until i rolled onto prince’s campus. but yeah, it’s changed. as much as i love sports, i don’t think it’s what i want to do professionally. but i can see myself working in the industry, studying sports medicine and all of that. maybe even sports journalism down the road.”
what timezones do you have on your phone’s clock app?
“i didn’t even know you can add multiple clocks... woah. i just have auckland. but now i may just add more for the hell of it. the more you know, eh?”
