Ace fell in love when he saw Riddle get excited over a hedgehog carrying a rose to him. Seeing him smile and laugh really set his heart off.

Riddle fell in love when Ace demanded him after he overblot. At the moment, he was a bit dazed but being treated like a human who made a mistake instead of a child felt great. Specifically when Ace’s finger jabbed his chest, his heart bursted.

Ace, after he started crushing on Riddle, started to obey the rules slightly. Not fully, but he was better than. He realized that doing chores usually got a smile or a ‘thank you’ out of Riddle.

Riddle was quite shocked to see Ace’s dream. He didn’t expect to see himself in Ace’s dream, and if he was, he assumed it would be Riddle groveling at his feet like a king or something—not Ace just imagining him being happy and hanging out with him like friends.

If Riddle does go to his house for holiday, Ace refuses to let him go alone. He either comes inside, or stays outside and just waits for Riddle to come out crying or upset.

If anyone in Heartslabyul suggests anything bad about Ace, Riddle collars them immediately and scolds them about being respectful of their dormmates. He complains about it to Ace later.

They cuddle like a lot, a very physically affectionate couple. Riddle didnt know how to handle it at first, but the touch started to feel safer as he got more used to it.

Riddle isn’t a fan of PDA, unless they're around friends, but Ace loves it and is always trying to sneakily hold Riddle’s hand.

The confession was very wholesome. Ace met with Riddle at some rosebushes, and gave him red roses with white ribbon tying them together, strawberry gummies, and a cute like strawberry plush.

Riddle genuinely just froze, burning up. He couldn’t even talk without stuttering, and Ace was just as flustered.

After a while of them stuttering and shyly raving about how much and how long they’ve liked the other, they agreed on a first date. Riddle kissed Ace’s cheek before running away.

Ace went to his dorm and was freaking out about it to Deuce, and Riddle freaked out about it to Trey and Cater.

They spent almost that whole night texting each other, giggling and subtly flirting.

When Riddle is feeling anxious, he taps his fingers on Ace in random patterns to try and calm himself, and to quietly let Ace know he’s feeling nervous.

They fight over who loves the other more, like all the time. It’s like a button is pressed in their brains when the other says “i love you more.”

They’re competitive, and like to have competitions. Ace gets butt-hurt when he loses, though. Riddle finds it sweet and then allows Ace to take the win anyway.

Ace absolutely teared up when Riddle had to graduate, as did Deuce but this aint about him.

Ace refuses to just leave Riddle alone to fend for himself when he’s sick. He skips class to help him. Riddle doesn’t like that Ace is skipping school time, but he does think it’s sweet when Ace worries about him.

Any vent-session, from either sides, always ends in them getting food and cuddling or just cuddling.

Ace isn’t as touch-starved as Riddle is, but he still clings.

Ace’s first basketball game, the Heartslabyul group was almost late because of Cater and Deuce. At first, Ace was super disappointed and had to be comforted by Jamil. The group soon came in, with Riddle scolding them for making them late and expressing that this was too important to not come to.

He ran up to Ace and apologized for being late, Ace smiled quick and hugged him as tight as possible.

Ace and Riddle cook together. Theres no “You’re the one who cooks” in their relationship. Ace and Riddle work together, and just use magic to clean the dishes. They both agree that magic is easier when it comes to cleaning.

Ace loves Riddle’s hair being messy and has begged him to not style it for just one day, cause he thought it was adorable. Ace got hit on the back for even trying.

When Ace gets on Riddles nerves, he draws scribbles on Ace’s arm and messes up his hair as a non-violent and nicer way of being mad at him.

They were each others first kiss. It happened when they were hanging out, having a picnic. They were both smiling, happy and admiring the other. It wasn’t planned, they just happened to scoot closer to each other. Riddle was the one who almost leaned in but caught himself, only for Ace to immediately lean in once he noticed. Their hands were on top of each other, and the kiss was kinda clumsy. It was just one held kiss, gentle, Ace’s hand cupped Riddle’s cheek.

When they pulled away, they stared for a moment before Riddle pulled away fully, face red and stumbling out apologies for moving so fast. Ace just kissed him again, and told him it was okay.
