not every mutual fits neatly into an archetypal medievalism but there are some mutuals that im like yeah addressing you as “my liege” would come strangely naturally

i think ace would savor any moment where he got to teach riddle something, even something small, like a card trick. not even in the way of holding it over his head or pride that he knows more than him in something, but that he gets to teach him something for once, not the other way around. that warm feeling where you get to show someone you admire something, especially if you get praised for it. (and we know ace likes that)

this is so real tbh like!! not only that but ace also gets to watch riddle smile whenever he's mastered something like a crucial part of the card trick and how could ace not fall in love with that smile!! even when riddle's praising him for knowing how to do something like this, ace is focused on riddle's smile and riddle's happy voice and he's just so so captivated by all of riddle's happiness
