Hi,
it’s Jacqueline's time!!
Today, I’m going to share the experience of visiting the famous temple in Tokyo, Japan on November 18, 2017.
Sensō-ji is one of the most famous temples in Tokyo. There are thousands of tourists come to the temple every day. Also, there are many Japanese will wear the traditional Japanese uniform and come to the temple to pray for their fortune

At 1:00 pm, we arrived at the subway station of the temple. We could see the front of the temple which called Sensō-ji, as we followed by the crowd.
There were so many people on the street that they all walked toward the temple.
There were also some lady wore the traditional Japanese uniform.
the Entrance
On the entrance of the temple, there was a lantern in the red Japanese traditional style. There were some dragon patterns carved under the lantern.
As we walked, there were more and more people that they were shopping at the stores on both sides of the street. There were many stores that visitors could buy souvenirs such as, key chains, pen, traditional Japanese uniform, pets' clothing with Japanese old traditional characters, the Japanese snack, and so on.
As a foodie
I bought an ice cream in matcha flavour, which was one of the most famous Japanese tastes.
the Second Entrance
Walking about 20 minutes in the crowd, we saw another entrance which almost the same as the one we passed. There was another lantern hung, which was smaller than the first one.
the Main Building
After we passed the second entrance, we finally met the temple's main building. There were many people from all around the world; they spoke German, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, and so on..
For people who were Buddhist, there were many amulets that they could buy. People believed that they could protect and help them in some ways. Each amulet had its power in many parts of the life such as, getting healthy, getting wealthy, passing exams, getting good marks, and so on.
I had bought the one which was passing exams and getting good marks.
Which one would you like to buy?
