Who doesn’t love a great road trip? Just you, your closest friends and family, the ultimate playlist and the open road with only one thing in mind: adventure. With warmer weather just around the corner, it’s only right that you start thinking hitting the highway.

Without a set plan, there’s no strict schedule to follow and no deadlines to make. Where else can you get away with losing track of time other than a road trip? Try a new restaurant, stop at a local museum or book a last-minute hotel in a new city and explore. You’ll turn your drive into a trip within itself.

3. Perfect time to snap cool photos

A road trip is the perfect time to put your photographer skills to the test. No matter what state you’re driving through, the scenery is always absolutely gorgeous. Today, I'm going to share about the Craziest Foodie Day I ever had with my mom in Japan on November 14, 2017, 

---PART 1

We waked up as usual in an apartment which located a downtown area in Ikebukuro Tokyo that we booked on the Airbnb. We had no plan for the day, so we just wanted to find if there was anything we could eat for breakfast in the apartment. That’s what we found: 

Two bowls of instant noodles which was super delicious and produced by the most famous instant noodles company Nissin

A vanilla mochi ice cream which I had seen that before in the T&T supermarket in Vancouver

A cup of ice cream from Häagen-Dazs in the mocha flavour which I had only seen in Aisa

A can of incredible tasty corn soup. 

We finished our "simple" breakfast and began to plan for the day at 09:00 AM.

When I was busing planning our day, my mom went outside for a walk after breakfast and bought tons of snacks in the Family Mart, which was the closest convenience store from our apartment.

At 10:05 AM, we started our first snack break. The snacks were limited by region and season. 

The Annou Imo flavour ice cream from Häagen-Dazs was the seasonal limited edition; its taste and the texture was unique and indescribable. However, I believed Mocha would be my first choice next time. 

The sticky triangle rice with seaweed was sold only in the Family Mart which located in Japan area. There were many different flavours for choosing, but I highly recommend the Mentaiko flavour for people who want to taste in the Japanese flavour. 

The Tapioca Coconut Milk also was sold in the Family Mart which located in Japan area only; I could say that its taste was even better than the bubble tea. Amazing!!! 

The chips were from the Calbee company; it had many different flavours to represent a place or a territory inside of Japan. Don't ask me which one I'll recommend because it will be the hardest decision for me in 2018; maybe I can answer your question after I come back and buy all flavours from my next trip to Tokyo. For now, I will say "buy them all" because its price was very friendly in Japan.

At 1:20 PM, we went to a restaurant, which located in a large artificial island in Tokyo Bay and was famous by making any different flavours of Omeleice. Omeleice was a dish of fried rice that covered by an omelette As a person who always had trouble to make choices; I used 25 minutes on choosing the one that I wanted to try the most. At last, I chose the one with curry sauce and fried pork on the top. My mom picked the seafood one. Extremely great!!! The curry was not spicy at all which was good for the people could not have spicy food like me.
