No one:
Eddie bleeding out in an elevator:
Every Oliver interview so far has been Oliver repeatedly saying "yes, I will personally make sure this evolves into Buck, Eddie, their teenager, and their toddler" and I love him for it.
Absolutely fascinated by Ryan Guzmanβs (correct) belief that Eddie is entirely unaware of the romantic undertones that are peppered through his relationship with Buck. Or heβs not exactly unaware, but all those pieces of pepper are individual details and he canβt see the bigger picture, like putting a puzzle together while only looking at the pieces but not at what heβs got so far. Heβs too naive to put things together. Heβs never once considered it. If Buck were to confess to him, heβd be genuinely shocked. And Buck wonβt, of course, confess, because if Buck is in love with Eddie, thatβd break all the rules heβs set for this relationship. So Buck is ignoring the elephant in the room and Eddie is so zoomed in on specific parts of the elephant that he doesnβt even know itβs an elephant. He thinks that microscopic view of maybe-skin-or-an-iris is normal best friendship. Buck is βIβm not in love with Eddie obviously but if i was i wouldnβt be able to care about that rn bc I have a job and it would ruin the friendship rules I mentally gave us if he knewβ. Eddie is βI want Buck to be with me all the time and I often think of him as my husband in my head and I want him to touch me and stay with me and Iβll do anything he asks of me and I worry about him a lot and whenever I think of growing old Buck is right next to me every step of the way also growing old. Weβre such platonic best friends :)β. And that creates their wonderful dynamic where Buck dances around it all and Eddie is taking his hand and dancing with him because yay, theyβre dancing. He loves dancing with Buck. Buckβs such a bad dancer. Ha ha.
Buck summoning Eddie is kinda funny, ngl. He ask where Eddie is and Eddie just materializes for him. Right in front of you all of the damn time, Buckley.

buckβs backyard + a buckling <3
eddie literally got stabbed in a church and then trapped in an elevator. he ripped off his shirt while whimpering and moaning and bleeding out on the floor. for no reason other than the homoerotic drama of it all. oh and buck tried to take the elevator but he couldn't get in. then as soon as he asked where eddie was, the doors opened on his floor.
harry trying to find an ally in buck as the two childless adults and then buck immediately leaving him on his own lmao
to be clear like i understand the discourse but i really like theo :) and im happy buck took him in :) i was also prepared for it to be that rushed knowing what 911 finales are like so i'm not too bothered. anyways guys don't crucify me but i had so much fun with like. that whole episode. yay!
and what if eddie gets shot in the multi faith chapel of the hospital??? possibly even while on his knees π«ͺ

tell me the truth will disappear if i'm holding your hands
The elevator shudders to a halt, the abrupt stop pitching his stomach upward before it settles again, and the sharp, too cheerful ding slices through the tense silence as the doors begin to slide open. He knows, even as he stands there bracing himself, that taking it was a risk, stupid maybe, especially now, when danger seems to seep from every hallway and shadow, when every second feels like it could tip the balance between getting out and not making it at all. The stairs would have been smarter, more controlled, with fewer blind corners and mechanical traps, but the reality is harsher than the logic; even with lungs that can carry him through an eight-minute mile and legs that have never failed him before (ignoring when one was crushed by a ladder truck, of course, but those were extenuating circumstances and totally not the point right now), they would not have been fast enough this time, not with the clock pressing in on him, not with the living, breathing entity of danger closing the distance. So he chose the elevator, chose speed over certainty, and now, as the gap between the doors widens inch by inch, he cannot shake the feeling that he has just delivered himself exactly where something is waiting.
The shots had started it. Seven. Fast. Too fast to be anything but what they were. For a second the cafeteria didn't understand, like the sound hadn't caught up to meaning yet. And then it did. Everything after that blurred into motion, people shoving back their chairs, voices rising, the kind of panic that doesn't have a shape, just direction. Out. Away.
He'd gone the other way.
He can still feel it in his chest, the force of it, pushing forward while everyone else pushed past him, shoulders knocking, hands grabbing at anything that might steady them. The halls had stretched out under harsh light, too open, with nowhere to hide, his footsteps loud in a way that made his skin prickle. He didn't stop. Didn't even think about stopping.
Somewhere between one turn and the next, he'd fumbled for his phone, hands unsteady, thumbs moving faster than he could think, messages fired into the group chat, short, broken, not even sentences, just enough to say that he was there; enough to ask if everyone was safe; that something was wrong; and that he was going in. No replies came. He'd tried calling Eddie then, once, twice, three times, pressing the phone tight to his ear like he could force an answer out of it. It rang and it rang and it rang. Nothing. No voice, no pickup, just the hollow drop back into silence each time.
The lockdown announcement had cut in somewhere along the way, calm and even, like it could be contained. There was no getting out now. Only going through.
Through the danger. Through the building. To his team. ToβΒ
"Eddie?" His name comes out like it doesn't quite belong to him, soft, uncertain, almost afraid of the answer.
