Magic anons ARE in fact allowed, but they do have some guidelines:
You may give characters items, but no weapons, and nothing game-breaking. keep it basic and simple. A good magic item would be, for instance, a book that fills itself with moving pictures based on what the storyteller is saying. You may also give them healing items, but no power-ups.
You may not save them in combat or death. No interfering with the roleplay.
However!!!! You can! Interfere with the roll of the dice. For example, you could say: The next three Nat 20s you roll magically turn to 10s.
You may change the shape of the character if you wish. For example, you can shrink them very very small.
