A good magic item would be, for instance, a book that fills itself with moving pictures based on what the storyteller is saying You may also give them healing items, but no power-ups. You may not save them in combat or death. No interfering with the roleplay. However!!!! You can! Interfere with the roll of the dice Β For example, you could say: The next three Nat 20s you roll magically turn to 10s. You may change the shape of the character if you wish. For example, you can shrink them very very small. You may heal the characters, but only up to 3/4 of their max health. For example, if someone has 20 HP, you may only heal them up to 15 health When someone speaks like //this, they are speaking entirely out of character. When someone speaks like [this or "This"] they are describing the actions out of quotations and speaking as the players, not as the characters. Speaking in character for the dnd characters requires no bracket or signaling.Β
