El dictador fue puesto al mando del golpe de estado y posterior dictadura cívico militar por EEUU, contra el presidente democráticamente electo Dr. Salvador Allende, generando no solo su muerte sino el secuestro, tortura, violación, tráfico, mutilación, asesinato y desaparición de cientos de miles de chilenos, incluyendo migrantes, hombres, mujeres, ancianos, adolescentes, niños y bebés. La dictadura fue realizada por EEUU, que también entrenó a la policia, a todas las ramas de los militares (aviación, marines, fuerzas especiales, etc), médicos, enfermeras e incluso civíles como torturadores para crear agencias de inteligencia como la CNI y la DINA ("Mamo" Contreras, por ejemplo) y a los intelectuales de la ultra derecha chilena para no sólo ser parte de la junta sino que instalarlos en todas las universidades, empresas e instituciones del país (como los Chicago Boys). Ha día de hoy no ha habido justicia, reparación ni garantía de no repetición ya que los agentes de la dictadura siguen en operaciones y el país sigue bajo el control de sus empresarios que son dueños de los medios de comunicación y medios de producción, así como del sistema judicial, médico y policial, incluyendo a la Iglesia y las múltiples ramas de esta (como católicos, mormones, evangélicos, new age, etc). Chile sigue bajo un genocidio y Operación Cóndor sigue en acción.
